- Yep, here is the inevitable vlog featuring Sam Valentino, the Private Toon Detective, discussing the upcoming TV network MeTV Toons. And it's going to be running in my area! This is a pretty exciting development, though Sam also remembers when Cartoon Network and Boomerang initially started up, and when TV Land attempted their "Super Retrovision Saturdaze" animation block. Hopefully this goes very well!
It's gonna be an animated version of Catchy Comedy.
So proud of all this. MeTV Toons is surely gonna do really well.

I gotta get FrndlyTV when MeTV Toons launches! I can't wait for the new Checkerboard era from Cartoon Network and Classic era from Boomerang channel to come!

I wish MeTV the best of luck. I really hope it helps get Warner Bros. back on the right track, though I feel that can really only happen if David Zaslav gets fired from WB and replaced by someone who isn't sexist, racist, or anti-animation. Zaslav also denied Josh Fairhurst, the head of Limited Run Games, the licenses for Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs, thus preventing him from being able to release a compilation of Konami's games based on those franchises. I did an entire video rant on that subject and I recommend seeing it.
The reason why Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids is now being lost to the sands of time is because of the controversies associated with series creator Bill Cosby. Nickelodeon has also disowned Little Bill and Fatherhood for this reason.
That also explains why there's no DVD/Blu Ray release of 'Leonard Part 6'. (Though I'm still waiting for The Cinema Snob to review that someday.)
I live in the same area but I have Verizon fios. I don’t think it has MeTV toons. Sounds like a good place to see classic cartoons. Thanks for the info Sam Valentino. 🦊❤️📺

Yep. And being made for primetime, it's also one of their edgier cartoons. Yet despite containing some very PG content, Cartoon Network and Boomerang's reruns rated it TV-Y7!

I would love to see my Fox, CW, or independent station become MTV Toons. That would be the ultimate revenge for them ditching cartoons.

If this collab is a success, you can remake Yoshimaniac's Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse Catastrophe video with the same cast as your Smurfs YTP Collab. Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse Catastrophe is a RUclips Poop Collab made by Yoshimaniac. Your remake of Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse Catastrophe will be themed to Mickey's Adventures in Wonderland instead of Mickey Go Seek.

I'll admit to feeling as awkwardly infuriated as Captain Harris when Police Academy: The Series comes on. It's been too long since I saw that show.
'Police Academy' hasn't need seen in decades. Even Cartoon Network never aired it if i'm not mistaken.

I was wondering when you would post A video on this. Also, 'Rocky & Bullwinkle' are with Universal. not WildBrain. I'm still baffled why Comcast never picked up Boomerang. Comcast only had it on their 'on demand' service only for some reason. That new 'Gumby' looks like A bad imitation of 'Adventure Time'.
Well, Bullwinkle Studios eventually ended their partnership with Universal/DreamWorks/Classic Media, I think after that Amazon Prime reboot series bombed, and they moved to WildBrain.

@@ZakWolf Interesting how they're including 'Greatest Adventures: Stories From The Bible' on the line up. I've seen those at the video store, but Cartoon Network has never aired those. Fun fact, Hellen Hunt worked on those since her father, Gordon Hunt worked at Hanna-Barbera.
