    I'm not a Pilot...But I did work in an Aerospace Testing LAB...fo 38 years...Boeing..Airbus....Embraer wit FAA...Etc.....so I love Aviation...I like that you are making friends in flying....have fun

      @@lipslide101 yes! Of course there is cases where you can't. But as long as you have clear airspace and enough land to do it.

    If you like bush planes, you need to go to Anchorage Airport. They have 100's of them and it is easy to walk around and look at them. Lots with wheels, lots with floats, and some interchangeable. I can go there and spend hours looking at them.

    As a non-pilot, I never saw the Freedom Fox as being anything special beyond a normal Kitfox. With this detail and comparison to Ryan's, you realize just how much Trent put into his plane!

      @@MissionaryBushPilot You might want to look into the Edge Performance mods for the Rotax, or talk to Tod of "GravityKnightFlying", who has modded his Rotax all the way to essentially the EP912STI

    We have his plane in MSFS 2020, its awesome! Incredible detail! So I bet many flightsim people in the comments know this plane well now, not only form Trent's video's but in the simulator as well! :)

    Wow awesome. I always wondered if the C172/175 airframe could be modified in into Cessna 180/185 performance. In Papua Indonesia I had seen how MAF had converted Cessna 180s into Cessna 185s. But this is way beyond that its almost as if this Cessna has been converted to a Helio courier.

    Looks like Trent can't see his airplane zeroing in on him.
    I've been toying with landing gear components for the past week. And so was inspired by your tail wheel design. I'm toying with fixed gear bogey designs which will allow clean aerodynamic flow with some additional benefits: gear load force transfer and stress distribution. ✌️♥️👍

      There is another Palmer in the Flying Cowboys, Scott and from what I gathered he went all out with dampened gear and reverted back to spring steel.

    I saw on RUclips the other day a hybrid car that had a three cylinder 600 hp dual turbo engine. It looked quite small. I don’t remember the name but it look like it was a German name. It look like it would be quite an engine for a stole airplane.
