NOS on an airplane.... a slow airplane. Nice😏
Love Jeff's plane. Great ideas.
I'm not a Pilot...But I did work in an Aerospace Testing LAB...fo 38 years...Boeing..Airbus....Embraer wit FAA...Etc.....so I love Aviation...I like that you are making friends in flying....have fun
Ryan you and Trent are my inspiration for buying my own plane and building a hanger and airstrip at my house. Thanks for all the work you put into your videos.
I’m jealous of anyone who has land on their property for a hanger and airstrip. If you do persist on this journey VLOG it cause I’d be interested to follow the process
Are you legally allowed to just do that?
@@lipslide101 yes! Of course there is cases where you can't. But as long as you have clear airspace and enough land to do it.
@@jaredhochstetler2605 Man that sounds so cool. I live in in Belgium under the middle of heavy regulated airspace and can not imagine how awesome that would be.
@@lipslide101 yeah I bet. I live in wyoming with lots of public land and miles of just nothing. So it is a prime place to build hrs.
If you like bush planes, you need to go to Anchorage Airport. They have 100's of them and it is easy to walk around and look at them. Lots with wheels, lots with floats, and some interchangeable. I can go there and spend hours looking at them.
As a non-pilot, I never saw the Freedom Fox as being anything special beyond a normal Kitfox. With this detail and comparison to Ryan's, you realize just how much Trent put into his plane!
$$$$
@@MissionaryBushPilot The "partnership" with Garmin didn't hurt either!
@@MissionaryBushPilot You might want to look into the Edge Performance mods for the Rotax, or talk to Tod of "GravityKnightFlying", who has modded his Rotax all the way to essentially the EP912STI
Awesome content; thanks for creating it. A bit ironic in that you are a legit “bush pilot” in that I bet you are one of very few out there who have actually been paid to do the job. With that said I love your humble demeanor and “student like” approach with your interviews. Big fan here - of you and looking forward to watching a new chapter in your adventurous life. I follow you on Instagram too.
yep, what everything Sean Cooper said minus Instagram
Oh man this made my day seeing my two favorite bush pilots in one video. Awesome job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
AWESOME! Thanks Trent, Steve, and Jeff for showing us your incredible bush planes. Great video for sure Ryan. We have been anticipating a video with Trent.
Glad you enjoyed it!
AWESOME Ryan. Glad to see you made it to High Sierra Fly-In!
It was so much fun!
G,day Captain Ryan from Sydney Australia.
Those men and their flying machines are "mind blowing." Engineering and technology experts.
🌏🇭🇲
You should have given Trent a check list box. Would be great to get his opinion on using it and spreading the word about it.
Been waiting to see you and Trent in the same VLOG. Hope to see collaborative adventures.
Wow! Great interview with Trent Palmer! Love your PNG vids but the new adventure is also exciting!
The front view camera through the Garmin Panel, great idea, nice knowledgeable guy is Trent, just subscribed, thanks Ryan.
Welcome!
Nice video Ryan. I've seen a lot of your PNG vids and I've been watching Trent vids a long time and his channel among others got me back into flying and getting my own STOL plane. STOL is so much fun.
Awesome! Trent Palmer is one of my favorite Bush Pilots to watch on RUclips. Glad you got to meet up with him.
That is so cool I have been watching these guys for years racing
Cool to see you meeting all the other youtubers. that we all watch. thank you the great content!
Enjoyed this. Now we get to see what changes you will make after talking to these guys
Very cool. I've watched Trent's channel for some time, but I don't recall seeing him go through all the modifications he made to the original design. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for the tour of these planes! If it wasn't for you and some others who filmed and posted about this event, I would never have been able to get a taste of what it was like. Thanks!!
STOL FERVOR.......RYAN. You must be hooked? Good for you, and a great passion.
Never imagined that someone would be using nitrous, to avoid turbo lag in an aircraft. Very interesting vid.
Hello from Minnesota!! Such great guys and great innovation on those planes!
You guys are making me wanna get my Tailwheel Endorsement. So many things you can do with these STOL air craft that is just so unique
you should!
We have his plane in MSFS 2020, its awesome! Incredible detail! So I bet many flightsim people in the comments know this plane well now, not only form Trent's video's but in the simulator as well! :)
Wow awesome. I always wondered if the C172/175 airframe could be modified in into Cessna 180/185 performance. In Papua Indonesia I had seen how MAF had converted Cessna 180s into Cessna 185s. But this is way beyond that its almost as if this Cessna has been converted to a Helio courier.
Such a blast with the ideas just spinning in your head I bet. 👍👍👍👍👍
Looking like Trent added some toys to your purchasing list!
Great video! I enjoyed getting the details of the different planes.
Ryan, Excellent interviews! Love your content.
Much appreciated!
Thanks to these pilots for sharing their skills and passion. Happy landings, all!
Brilliant video. love following the journey of other pilots and their modifications. I'm learning loads.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great content. I am curious what impact so many more folks doing this will have on unspoiled lands. I love to fly, but I also love peace and quiet.
man this whole thing is freaking awesome! i didn't know there where a whole world about it!
Looks like Trent can't see his airplane zeroing in on him.
I've been toying with landing gear components for the past week. And so was inspired by your tail wheel design. I'm toying with fixed gear bogey designs which will allow clean aerodynamic flow with some additional benefits: gear load force transfer and stress distribution. ✌️♥️👍
Love the channel ! Keep the videos coming !
You guys are pretty good. Wonder if you ever consider professional bush flying? I think the air taxis up here in Alaska are looking for lots of pilots.
Awesome fun!
Spring steel gear has the advantage of higher cruise speeds!
yes it does.
There is another Palmer in the Flying Cowboys, Scott and from what I gathered he went all out with dampened gear and reverted back to spring steel.
Super interesting 👋Thanks!
The moment Jeff mentioned 13 hours in that seat, I thought he must have an iron bladder.😀
seriously!
Sorry. Obviously not on the same leg. But all day flying they’re so much more comfortable than any seat I’ve been in. 🤘
Excellent stuff bro
That was fun to watch thank you
Nice. Since you're in their neck of the woods (as the crow flies) you'll have to crash some Flying Cowboys parties to hone your back country skills.
Great video. Was curious what brand of camera Trent was using for forward visibility on the ground?
just a backup cam off amazon
What event was this? looks rad.
Thanks for the great video! Just a heads up: your camera sensor is filthy, time for some cleaning! 😄
I know, I keep forgetting to clean it
Excellent that was Ryan
Great vid. Thanks for sharing your time! KANSAS
I saw on RUclips the other day a hybrid car that had a three cylinder 600 hp dual turbo engine. It looked quite small. I don’t remember the name but it look like it was a German name. It look like it would be quite an engine for a stole airplane.
Ill take the Highlander. With the 300hp engine. Thanks!
Thanks.....
Great video! Makes me wish I had more time and money 😉
I was wondering when were you going to meet Trent Palmer.
thanks for a great video 😄
Glad you liked it!
I never liked the look of the dual-shock on each side, but when Trent said “redundancy” it clicked🤔
Ryan. I imagine all these mods that you were shown must be making you think a lot what to do next. So May be by High Sierra 2023 you will have some mods done. Safe travels.
exactly. I have already done a few, and more coming this month
Cool
I have a sneaking suspicion your wife saw this video and instantly hid your checkbook and cancelled any/all of your credit cards. "Damn you Trent Palmer! How dare you put ideas into my husband's mind!!"
You may want to check out the Jonas Marcinko channel and learn from some of his mistakes.
I miss a PT6
😎
MBP;; Hello, your tail wheel, will be a prototype, that was thebVERY FIRST TIME I SAW NITRO, IN AN AIRCRAFT, SEE YOU NEXT TIME, stay well, ,,,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
blancolirio look him up , he's a book on bush planes an a great person you'd like
Juan was there Suprised he wasnt in this
I’m confident Ryan knows who Juan is
Yes I know who he is. He was pretty busy that week
Jesus is Coming!
Lol Trent thumbnail for the views… alrighty
Please do not hang around with Trent Palmer, you'll lose my respect. I cannot explain why, it's just the way it is.
