- The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party says it wants a commission of inquiry established that will look at alleged discrepancies that transpired in the capturing of election results for 2024 NPE polls. The party alleges that elections have been rigged. MK Party spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela was speaking to media at the National Results Centre in Midrand on Saturday evening.

The Re Count should be done regardless of whether the MK is disputing results or not .No system is that perfect. If the IEC says they have nothing to Hide . We could recount 15times over and it wouldn't be an issue. So let's have IEC prove us wrong. If there was no rigging then it will build more credibility for the IEC,but more than half of the political parties complaining and saying they have evidence is crazy and something to be listened to.

I don't know if South Africans are aware how volatile the situation might be. We have two choices here 1. Turn a blind eye to the allegations, being accompanied with proof 2. Take these issues headon and address them.
The problem with the first one is that it sets precedence to complacency and incriminate us to being accomplices to fraud and corruption. The second one though might be less desirable but really is the one and only option. We have to protect our institutions with everything we have. We are fortunate to live in SA as in other countries these types of things lead to civil wars. The issue here is too sensitive and needs people with open and broad minds. Our democracy shouldn't be taken for granted, we fought long and hard to get where we are now. . We should not claim transparency when there is none. I'm all for this compromised institution (IEC) to be taken to task. The judiciary (constitutional courts) MUST get involved and bring things back to where they are supposed to be.
I'm all for the re-vote in maybe 3months from today. This will give a chance to all those hundreds who were turned back to exercise their democratic right.

But the ConCourt won't sanction a revote. Mainly because the evidence is not material. They're decision is informed by a well developed statistical model. Ikanje: a margin of error is chosen, then when evidence is considered the model can calculate deviations from current votes, if they are not significantly different from the margin of error then materiality says even if we revote, numbers will change/deviate slightly from the current one. Then costs are considered and all else, so its considered unethical to redo the process.
Zuma term was the best one ever some of us had a wakeup call to start registering our own companies and other necessary requirements and some of us became billionaires on that process. So if Zuma was a thief means he was a better thief cause he managed to share wealths with the majority of us and many people were working during his time an like what we see right now 👂

I say they are bound to look at the evidence which is damning and widespread throughout the country. Myself looking at snippets of these "Irregularities" sickens me because it truly undermines us as citizens and the institutions that we trust.
