I love the spray bottle for the solvent! I've used a squirt bottle to put "a little" solvent into the grip. I waste a lot of solvent that way! Once the grip is on, I think you have about 1-2 minutes to reposition it. That's where I like to ground the club to see if it's all straight, vs relying on the marker from the old grip. Who knows... the old grips could have been put on wrong. GREAT VIDEO!
A couple of helpful tips is to push it up against a corner (wall/floor) with the rag over the clubhead and to never stop pushing half way to prevent the grip from getting stuck.
As the ink comes off with the solvent, in case of accidentally wiping it off to soon, wouldn't it be better to use some masking tape and make a mark that will not come off the tape. After fitting the grip you just take the masking tape off.

Thanks! Gotta try these out!!
If you take the lower half of the cut off grip, you can use it to hold onto the shaft easier as you slide on the new one.
You little genius, you! Thanks for the tip!!

WOW!!! That looks really hard to do. It goes on a LOT easier for me when I use a vice. Still you got ti done:)
Tip to remove old tape. Use a heat gun to heat it up and it comes off way easier.
Good move cutting the old grip away from you! I've made that mistake once and sliced the crap out of my palm lol
Hahahah I gotta call you soon Zheng!
Lol I cut into my thigh. Lesson learned
super informative! thank you Erndog!
I'd do this except I don't want to get solvent all over my floor. I suppose I could put a towel down....
Buy a vice they are only 14 quid.
