It’s too easy to pick on this movie but that circus performance scene set to “Firework” is one of my favorite scenes in movie history. I was holding on to hope that possibly Jeremy would remove a sin for how coordinated, energetic, and euphorically FUN that scene is. It goes to show that the filmmakers ass wasn’t at the helm of writing; that they truly wanted to create a moment that would amaze and fill the audience with a sense of wonder you only feel during your first time at the circus.

And in the months before the movies released every commercial on TV was the exact same trailer of Marty singing that song. Basically, the entirety of 2012 was just Madagascar 3.
