WEDNESDAY, MAY 6TH, 2020 02:44PM. Hello there guys, I hope you are well especially during this difficult time of COVID-19. I apologize, something happened and all my responses were removed from the comment section which means all corrections and information I shared over the course of two years on this particular video are gone. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or experiences you want to share. I hope you are enjoying your NIKON D5600 for those of you who purchased one and good luck to those who are searching! Enjoy the video! Greetings, Chris Dennis Rosenberg 😊
To be honest I didn't expect anything from this video, I was just playing every single D5600 vid on RUclips. And I've to say that I absolutly loved your video, I mean the way you speak, the way you present technical stuff, I liked everything. I bought the camera and will get it in few weeks as my first camera and I'll check your other videos since the job you're doing is really really good. Thank you for this super great review.
Brother, i wont say "this is one of the best video review ever", but what i actually want to say is, "this is the best video review ever". Great work man.
Bro the way you speak and your presentation is very good... You r very calm in this video... Best of luck for your RUclips journey... Never give up.. 😊😊😊
I appreciate this video because it's not one of the run-of-the-mill, "pro" videos that hypes on everything about it. He's nice and calm, HONEST, and real! I completely trust this review and I'm now officially going by what he said about it. I wish my so-called "teachers" were like this!!! Thank you!
So I am between Nikon d5600 and the Canon T7i. I want to do wildlife, landscapes and some portraits but I also want to try vloging in the future. And I want a camera that I can afford but that I can start my photography journey and grow with. So I think these two cameras are good options for me. There is so much to learn. If there is one you could recommend I would be very thankful. Also what would be some affordable beginner lenses? Should I buy the kit (for either) or just the body? Since I am a beginner I honestly have no clue.
@@denniskimbugwe Thank you so much for your insights. I think the Nikon is the better choice for me. Vlogging will be for the later future, maybe after I feel comfortable with photography. Once again, thank you. I will be buying the camera in the following week(s). 🙏
I purchased this camera and the additional af-p 70-300 mm lens love it. I am a beginner and love wildlife photography and flowers and water shots. I’m trying to learn manual but the ISO and working in manual confuses me. You explain things so well and you’re so helpful. I wish you would teach a course on this camera in manual mode lol. Two questions please. What editing software do you use? And what is the attachment you have in the end of the lens, is it fisheye?
Hello there Beth, I hope you are well and I apologize for the delayed response. Firstly, I hope you still feel good about your decision to purchase this camera and lens and I hope that your photography has benefited from this decision. I am so grateful for your kind comment and I am so glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. To answer your questions, I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop CC to edit. I didn't have a fisheye attached, only the lenses I mentioned in this video. As far as ISO and manual mode are concerned, I don't change ISO as much as I change Shutter Speed and Aperture. In really great lighting conditions, I usually keep ISO at 100 - 400 anything worse, that changing Shutter speed or Aperture can't fix without losing the intended technical aspects of the photo. I increase the ISO. I hope this helps you. Greetings, Chris Dennis 😊
Good video guy! I own and casually use both the D5500 and D5600. With them I use the F 35mm DX 1.8 (great lens) the F 18-55 (kit lens) and the F 70-300 (telephoto). These are the only F series gear I own. About 2 tears ago I discovered and later switched to the Z system. That is another planet. So I occasionally find myself shooting with these cameras, I enjoy them and wish you much joy with them. Thanks for posting your video.
Can I just say, this is definitely the best video of the Nikon d5600 and has made me purchase my own one, I have no complaints with the camera so thank you for making this video, I subscribed 👍

While watching several Nikon D5600 videos I came accros yours and I must say I watched it from beginning to end. Your calm voice, your manner of explaining details is really engaging. Keep it up!
Chris. This is one of the best reviews that I have seen on youtube for the d5600. Thank you! I started watching your video thinking that this would be the typical 'review video' where the guy just reads out the specs of the cam. But you actually spoke about your real time experience with the cam, the actual picture quality and so on. In short, you ACTUALLY reviewed the product! Keep them videos coming. Would love to see similar videos. :)

This is great. I am a newbie to photography and am considering purchasing between a number of cameras including this one. I'm mostly interested in capturing nature but a lot of the reviews just blab on and don't show any still pictures. With all your nature photos, it gave me a good idea of what to expect! Great video!! Really loved all the in-depth info about your experiences with the camera. I currently own and use one professionally and some of the downsides you mentioned are exactly my experiences including letting my auto ISO run wild on me by accident when I first started. Awesome job, great photographs!!!
Chris Dennis Rosenberg hahah! So true. Luckily for me most of that happened on free portfolio shoots so more of a learning experience than anything (whew!) but boy did it save me some heartache down the line lol. I did nature and wildlife photography for 2 years before I switched to people and it’s great to see the difference in perspective from what you see outside your door to what I see outside of mine!
Thank you for a very comprehensive, and helpful review of the D5600. I trust your review because you're not afraid to say "It was my fault, not the camera's" when photos, and videos weren't what you expected them to be. I hope you've gotten, or will soon get your photo of a pied kingfisher at the moment of impact with water!
Your video is superb.i love to take pictures with my mobile. I just want to clarify my doubt with you, I am a beginner for DSLR world, which means I am not even touched the DSLR camera. Now I planned to buy DSLR, which one should I buy D7500 or D5600. I am waiting for your reply.
First of all thank you for replying me. Finally If I choose D7500, my question is, as a beginner which is easy to use or not. Or else I just go with other beginner level cameras like D5600 to gain more photography skills and tricks

Thank you for this review, it's one, if not the best review on RUclips. I have the D3500 and now want to upgrade. I am torn between the D5600 and the D7500. The D5600 has a similar menu to the D3500 although there is more options in the D5600, that I think would be a good choice. The D7500 might have too many functions I would not use, but I think I would use the D5600 to its fullest. You have helped me in the research.
Hello. Great video. I am thinking of getting this camera too. I just found your video by searching for D5600. So glad I played your video. Some beautiful shots you showed. Very informative video. Great job explaining everything about camera in your real world experience. Look forward to more of your videos. Cheers from SW Ontario Canada.
Great info and using a Canon Rebel xTi; it served its purpose and feel I’ve outgrown it. I’ve been looking at the Nikon cameras. This one is on the top of my list!
Thank you for this very informative video. I've been watching reviews of this camera for days and this video really stands out and mentions many things that others don't.
Good video. A very honest review of the D5600. And also shows that it's the photographer that makes good photos and not how high specced a camera is. Cheers!
Hello there Joshua, I hope you are well. Thank You So Much for watching my video and for such kind and amazing feedback. I am so glad that you found the video helpful! Thank You So Much 😊
Thanks Chris appreciate your support The camera will be just for personal use for me and my wife photos so I think I will need the rotating screen but is the AF points is a deal breaker for me to go for D7100 or for just 2 persons photos the AF points for D5600 is enough ??
The Nikon D5500 and Nikon D5600 battery life is great. I have had no trouble even with third party batteries. Like 600 shots or more out off one battery.
really awesome video ❤️ I am confused which camera is best for me. ..... I love wildlife and Bird photography So I am confused between canon 200d mark ii and nikon 5600d .. Which one is best .....please give any suggestion and help me. To decide
Hello there, first of all, I must apologize for how long it has taken me to respond to your comment and I hope you were able to make a decision if it was urgent. I still use the Nikon D5600, I have never used the Canon 200D MII but my recommendation would be to get the camera that will give you the best value, if you expect to work with video as well then it might be safer to buy the canon because their video capabilities and technologies are far more superior compared to Nikon's especially Nikon DSLRs. This is the only thing I would put into consideration if I was deciding between these two cameras for myself. I hope this helps. Greetings 😊
Your review was very helpful thank you! I have been taking photos with my phone for a couple years and i'm still interested in photography and feel like its time to upgrade to a camera :D. I'm very into the nikon d5600 but I'm wondering do i really need a 70-300 mm lens or can i get descant shots of wildlife and animals in motion with the 18-55 mm lens? I really want a camera that's great for catching moments in fast motions but i ofcourse want to save money too hahaha :D
Chris Dennis Rosenberg thank you so much! It’s very kind of you to take the time out of your day to help so many people :) I understand a lot more now :)
Thank you. Very helpful review. You’re living in the right place for wildlife photography, lucky you! I just bought mine with 2 kit lenses for €485 on special...for that price it’s very hard to beat. Video AF is poor as you say, but photographs can be sharp. I will also do wildlife in Australia.
I'm buying this camera soon, and it will be my first DSLR camera, i just need to know is there any way i can know that it might be copied or something, please do you know anything about it? 😄
Absolutely loved your review, best one I've seen yet, and ive seen quite a few now haha. Think I'll definitely be purchasing this camera. Thank you, you actually covered all the points i was looking for, as I'm wanting to mainly photograph birds.
I'm a beginner bird watcher and this is a really wonderful video. Thank you! I've bought this camera and can't wait for it to arrive. Do you have a video on camera setting basics for a first time user? From a wildlife/bird photography perspective.
Great review man... I was looking for review of this camera but couldn't find it but at the end i found your video... I just searched for diff. b/w AF-S & AF-P lens and i found your video and from that comment section, i found this video... It's really helpful... As I'm purchasing my first ever DSLR, i think this will be good for starting in DSLR photography and for the price because this is what i can afford... I can't afford Sony as of now but later I'll switch to Sony mirrorless cameras when I'll have the money because i love those!!
Very good and practical review! I 'm about to choose between Nikon d5600 and Canon 800d. It' s primary use will be landscape astrophotography. Which of the two produces better high iso images? It's secondary use will be mostly portrait shooting for social media sharing. According to your user experience which of the two performs better for portraits? As far as user interface is Canon easier to control? Waiting for your reply, thanks in advance!
@@denniskimbugwe Thanks for your immediate feedback! You helped a lot clear up my mind. So portrait shooting checked. As far as astrophotography tasks, I don't expect miracles, you are right. Perfect review Brother. I have ordered this camera today. It will be my first DSLR. Need your help regarding lenses. Basic 55 mm lens is there with cam.
Great video , nice and honest. Some great pics.
Fabulous Tutorial, I would like one where you do step by step how to do a video!
Thanks for the comment and suggestion 😊
Thank you so much for the video, it was very informative and helpful
My absolute pleasure, thank you so much for watching and for the kind feedback. I am glad you found the video helpful 😊
Thanks a lot for your support. Your suggestions are really helped to me. Finally decided "D7500". I'll share my experience with you, once I bought it.
Awesome videography and photography man! Thinking of upgrading my d3100 at some point so this was really helpful too

Great review, I currently use the d5600 and it's been very good as a beginner camera for me. I used it to take my profile picture.
Hey it's a nice informative video.. What would you recommend for photography nikon 5600 or recent canon SL3 (250d) i won't be doing any videos..
Fantastic video! Just waiting for mine to come to replace my D3200.

Great video - subscribed.
Great video.
Your video has made me buy this exceptional camera 👌🏻😍
Superb review compared to other D5600 reviews bro
Great video! I see a new D5600 for $447 so I am very tempted to upgrade from my bridge camera to my first DSLR.
Hi Chris terrific video and review thanks
Thank you so much Alvaro, I really appreciate your kind feedback and I am so glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful.
Cheers 😊
Thank you for this review, it's one, if not the best review on RUclips. I have the D3500 and now want to upgrade. I am torn between the D5600 and the D7500. The D5600 has a similar menu to the D3500 although there is more options in the D5600, that I think would be a good choice.
The D7500 might have too many functions I would not use, but I think I would use the D5600 to its fullest. You have helped me in the research.
Its great... I've captured some photos too.. I am a beginner so the photos i've captured are not great.. but i can do well with this camera.
Hello there,
I hope you are well. Thank you so much for your kind feedback, I truly appreciate it. I am glad you found my video helpful 😊
Good video. A very honest review of the D5600. And also shows that it's the photographer that makes good photos and not how high specced a camera is. Cheers!
Hello there Joshua,
I hope you are well. Thank You So Much for watching my video and for such kind and amazing feedback. I am so glad that you found the video helpful!
Thank You So Much 😊
I am confused between D5500 vs D7100 I will use AF FX Nikkor 50 mm F1.8D which one is better in your opinion?
Thanks Chris appreciate your support
The camera will be just for personal use for me and my wife photos so I think I will need the rotating screen but is the AF points is a deal breaker for me to go for D7100 or for just 2 persons photos the AF points for D5600 is enough ??
The Nikon D5500 and Nikon D5600 battery life is great. I have had no trouble even with third party batteries. Like 600 shots or more out off one battery.
Nice
Thank you so much for the feedback 😊
i wish 780 million very fast bro. & making futuristic concepts
Hi i am joshua from rdcongo I love your video I am olso photographer
really awesome video ❤️
I am confused which camera is best for me. .....
I love wildlife and Bird photography
So I am confused between canon 200d mark ii and nikon 5600d ..
Which one is best .....please give any suggestion and help me. To decide
Hello there,
first of all, I must apologize for how long it has taken me to respond to your comment and I hope you were able to make a decision if it was urgent.
Thanks for sharing your honest experience with the camera.
What a great review I have watched so many others but yours is by far the best. Well done.
I'm a beginner bird watcher and this is a really wonderful video. Thank you!
I've bought this camera and can't wait for it to arrive.
Do you have a video on camera setting basics for a first time user? From a wildlife/bird photography perspective.
I think that would be a really helpful video from you! Thanks for the reply and have a great day. :D
Great video brother👌very helpful for me as a beginner. Thanks a lot.
I think a fast prime lens would help me a little bit improve my shots. I think Nikon will be my final choice.
This what a viewer need thanks fr this
Thank you so much Yashu, I really appreciate this kind feedback. I am glad you found the video helpful 😊
Perfect review Brother. I have ordered this camera today. It will be my first DSLR. Need your help regarding lenses. Basic 55 mm lens is there with cam. I'm planning to buy 70-300 nikor lens. please tell me if there are more options.
I'm not illegible but one suggestion - Please add device name, model etc in description on posts on Instagram.

I just ordered this camera... but some of my friends are preferring Canon 200D over it. I am in a great doubt. I need this camera for travel and nature photography. so i am little bit tensed of having it. this video helped me somehow. i dont wanna shoot videos. then, is my choice correct or my friends are correct?
Thank you :-)
