@@maxking6909 bro you are watching a video about ancient cities in an rpg game with goblins and elves and dragons and magic and you’re worried ab what’s “cringe”
I remember the first time I went through Norenen-Dur. I was absolutely ecstatic to find the Daedric Cuirass and Daedric Left Pauldron in The Wailingdelve. I also love how Norenen-Dur is within the wall in Bamz-Amschend, which is under Old Mournhold, which is under Mournhold, which is the center of the city of Almalexia. Really gives you a sense of scale for the game world.
Though only slightly related I thought I would share my current build. One I made because I finally got around to get the Dragonborn DLC and because we are cumming up on the 10th anniversary this year. He is the offspring of a Clockwork Apostle (Actual last name inspiration was a solder of The Clockwork Basilica, Nalvyna Dral). His mother had left and got swept up in the exodus from Morrowind. She perished and he was taken by bandits. This is how he finds himself Learning brutal combat and takes his first steps in tinkering, though with locks. This is also why he unlawfully arrives in Skyrim, knowing little of his people, or the locals. Because of this spot on his formative years, he goes on to seek redemption through Mara and turns to her clergy. Only after making his way to Solstheim is beginning to understand his own people and have found a fascination with something closer to his roots, Dwemer technology. A pale Dunmer, faschioning his light hair and beard in braids, with blue markings on his face. Robed in sandy tones. Wearing boots and gauntlets of bone, or dwemer design. Wielding a dwarven mace and a heavy shield. Magic armor to compensate for his robes, emboldening his allies and a studied healer. For times when range is necessary he is learning how to perfect a crossbow design to have some punch and some clever engineering of specialized bolts, to make up for his skill with the thing not being terribly impressive. He mostly work for and with other elves, usually dunmer, despises beast-folk and is very interested in the idea of having his own Animunculus.
I'd love to see a lore/theory video on the conspicuous lack of a god/goddess of the sea in the Elder Scrolls (including the possibility that purview of the oceans could be shared amongst multiple deites, controlled by a god we've yet to be introduced to in the lore, a forgotten god, a nameless god, a god that had been sealed away, or something else).
You would think at least the *"sea"* elves would have aquatic themes with their gods. It can't be crazier than Khajiiti's cat themes. Seriously, *Dragon-Cat* Alkosh?
Boys I’ve been a fan for years, since about 2k and this is my first time getting first comment. Congrats are getting so far, your content is always top stuff.
Yep very good content, though I disagree with a large number of their opinions about some things. Like the lists of best Aedra/Daedra/Race/Play Style/Things they want in ES6. But I still like their content everyone has their own opinion about stuff after all.
Imagine a couple High Ranked Dwemer and a couple "Good" Ayleids somehow reappearing from Oblivion Realms encountering the Hero in ES6 at the same time.
You're not the only person I've seen comment something similar to this. This year is filled with a lot of strife and mental health issues. :/ I'm in the same boat btw.
The Tamriel Rebuilt version of TR is insane, so big, wish it was complete with all of the faction quests/stores/NPCs and etc. It blows every city in a TES game away.
The timing for this one couldn't have been better. I'm playing Morrowind, finished the main quest, am a few more days away from finishing Bloodmoon and then it's time to tackle Tribunal. Also, could anyone identify the mods that were used in this video? It looks ridiculously good.
Did Sotha Sil attack Almalaxia? I thought she killed him and used his technology to send the clockwork beasts to attack her own city so she would have an excuse to declare him evil and bolster her own worship.
Meanwhile near Arkthzand Library, the Vestige is busy running away from a Dwemer automaton ready to slice them with buzzsaw. Seriously, look up Dwarven Architon Steamknight. That’s something you don’t want to meet in a dark alley.
Baar Dau definitely didn't have to fall. Vivec could have shown mercy. Obviously he'd be happier had his ppl kept the faith in him, but letting it fall, dick move. Wonder if he's still out there.
Why do we need instruments to measure underground activities of the earth if we live on top of the land? Why do we need to explore caves, built mineshafts etc. if we live on the land? Life wants to expand indefinitly.
Where did you get the shots from mournhold from, tamriel rebuilt? Because I don't recall seeing those sights in the base DLC, though it has certainly been a while.
Does the rock keep it's momentum after Vivec stop holding it there? If not, a rock that size falling from that height wouldn't even destroy the city, let alone the region. The only way it would cause devastation would be if it was timestopped instead of just halted.
To summarize: Mournhold is a ruined Dunmer city built on the remains of another ruined Dunmer city that was built on top of a ruined Dwemer city that was built on top of a ruined Deadric city.
