I just dusted off my Mavic Air after not using it for about 2 years. Still works great and I use it for gutter and roof inspections. Would it be worth it to get the Air3?
It always good to upgrade to the latest operating systems. As of right now there is no Mavic Air 3. The latest is the Mavic Air 2S, and that model has a lot of upgrades from the original Air model. If you’re still considering a new Drone, I’d go with the DJI Mavic 3 Classic. I picked up both the Air 3 and the Mavic 3 Classic, and ended up returning the Air 3. Except for the new transmission system, there’s nothing new about it. Both sensors have been seen on other models, already (Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro = Main Sensor, Mavic 3 = Telephoto Sensor), without the Hasselblad Sensor, or the Hasselblad A.I. The image quality that the Mavic 3 Classsic provides is incredible! Just my opinion, of course.
I want to take pics of landscapes on vacations this includes waterfalls and high montain while also taking pic of myself can I fly it no matter how challenging the landscape it won' t crash?
It’s not 100% crash proof. I would still be careful and make sure the drone is in line of sight and that you have the controller close by if you need to override the flight modes.
We have a lot of kit options for the DJI Mavic 3 Classic. On the product page under the price, there is a drop down menu that will show you all the kits we have available with the Mavic 3 Classic. You can see the product page here: bhpho.to/3zxtqgp

There an Air 3 but it s only named DJI Air 3. It is the succesor of Mavic Air 2.

Do you do portrait shooting 16*9 with a twist camera like DJI mini 3
No, the Mavic 3 Classic does not have vertical mode like the DJI Mini 3. To get 16x9 photos you would have to crop.
what is the max zoom of the Classic? the standard Mavic 3 has 28x
it has only digita zoom/cropping.
no optical.
0.
7x
goood
Does it have active track
