The Mavic 3 Classic just checked four boxes on my "best drone" bucket list: 1) variable aperture 2) omnidirectional collision sensors 3) 10-bit D-log 4) affordable price I love my Mini 3 Pro, but this baby is a game changer for a professional shooter. BTW: another great video, buddy.
I have to disagree with you ! from looking at photos and Video you are not going to notice any different ! Also vertical mode on mini 3 pro is a game changer for me ! I honestly don't see how this drone fits in to the market when we already have everything we need from mini 3 pro. thats my view anyway.
@@JasonSturgess For photography the variable aperture and bigger sensor are a big upgrade. Plus the longer flight time and omni directional obstacle avoidance are nice.
@@JasonSturgess I don't disagree with you under most shooting circumstances...the Mini 3 Pro is superb. That is why I have no plan to get rid of mine. However, where the 200% larger sensor, better glass, and increased dynamic range pay huge dividends is under extreme lighting conditions. In those situations, the image quality from the Mavic 3 will be superior in every visual and measurable category. That's not just my view, it's a demonstrable fact.
Certainly tempting as an upgrade over the air2s. The increased flight time and variable shutter is noteworthy. To be honest I think this should have been the version of Mavic 3 that is initially released with the more expensive versions following later instead of the other way around.
I agree, I get the top down selling approach, but the price increase from the MP2 to the M3 was too much for most consumers. Had this been released first it would've been a best seller, even though I'm sure it will still do well.
Of course this should've been first but they were on the rush to present something new while it wasn't ready yet. Sad thing is they never made it to work and people obviously returned or didn't buy it so now they use these youtubers to make us buy this "new" one. Hilarious 😅
A well made very informative review, thanks, a proper review. The 3 and this classic are such a leap, i’m so happy with my A2S but I still have drone envy, how sad is that, 🙈, you got me fighting the dreaded impulsive click and just do it buying temptation. 🥴
I got a Mavic 3 Classic to replace my Air 2S. I sort of regret it. I say "sort of" because the camera is noticeably better on the M3, but the Air 2S flew so much better.

This is the obvious upgrade from my beloved Mini 2 it was definitely the best start i could of had and helped me to get my A2 & GVC now its time step it up. Thanks Mattheww Brennan for all of your helpful and informative videos🏆
I’m pretty well settled on the Mav 3 classic. Because I live near mountains and I want to video up on top of the mountains I believe this one would do much better in the wind. You did a good job explaining all of this. Thank you very much. And this will be my first drone.

The Mavic 3 has had my attention since it’s release. It was just too expensive… This one however is like the air 2s in regards to cost. I own a Mini 2 and really glad I did not get on the Mini 3 Bandwagon - I think this with the Mini 2 is the best combo anyone could have.
