- We are a family overlanding with our 4x4 Land Rover Defender built as an off-road and off-grid camper. It's all about offroad in Spain, starting with an offroad trail in Pyrenees. A family overlanding in a 4wd, traveling in a Land Rover Defender 110, camping with our 4runner. This is our road trip, a road trip family, we love family travel, minimal living, tiny living, car camping, camping with our Land Rover Defender, going overland, or doing overland travel with our 4x4 overland vehicle, that is more a home on wheels, or even a bugout vehicle, we enjoy a lot our camper conversion. I just bought myself a Defender 110 Hardtop Version from 2002 and I have to say … it is pretty awesome.
It still does need a lot of TLC to be up to specs but … we’re getting there … for sure …

What a beautiful trip. Some areas look similar to trails here in the U.S..
It looks like the big L.R. did well on the narrow trails.
Remember, it’s not an adventure without a little -- adventure.
What did your husband determine was the problem with the engine?
I looked at a new Defender and drove a new Discovery the other day. They are not what they used to be. Your vehicle is awesome.

Hope the truck stops being naughty and not often in Europe that you encounter wild animals ! Drones get such great shots but seem to be quite fragile going on how many channels I follow with them crashing and not often being found. Safe travels !
Always nice to encounter wild animals ☺. Yes, a shame for the drone, if it was possible we would have got it back but on that cliff, impossible.

Hello Emeline, I loved your video, have been following for a while now. We also have a RUclips Channel about our life with our Land Rover Discoveries 😅, here in Germany. So there is not that much offroading and wild camping like in your videos and more about fixing our cars. But watching you made me actually more relaxed in front of the camera, so thank you. 👍 Sorry about your drone, but you capture your adventure just beautifully without it. My husband wants to get a drone so badly . He has crashed every single rc car he has ever owned, so I am pretty sure he is going to crash his drone sooner or later too. 🙋♀️ Vera

Hi Emeline… Hi Vera! So here we meet alltogether!😁😁 just came back from the pyrenees in our D4 so I was curious to See how you got along! Hopefully you can Fix the problems with the car and enjoy your Trip! I believe you navigate with locus maps Right? Cool software!… we have almost the Same setup. 4 People baroud roof tent etc.

It seems all the tracks were fine to take as no forbidden signs.
Vivo en Barcelona que sorpresa que vinierais por aqui. Tambien tengo un defender, no tan preparado como el vuestro pero me hace muy feliz. La ruta es preciosa y la aventura de los toros muy divertida. Normalmente no atacan a nadie y son muy tranquilos pero este se ve que estaba enfadado. No se como consigues preparar las rutas. Me encantaria porderla hacer, si puedes ayudarme muchas gracias.
Thank you for your message. We enjoyed a lot this trip. That bull was really angry 😅 fun traveling memories are adding up! We never really plan, just choose a place to visit and go with our feeling. If I remember well, I think we did use wikiloc 4x4 to find some routes.

Hey great video, lovely scenery. Do you think the drone crashed maybe due to GPS signal loss down in those steep sided valleys?

Do you ever have issues with authorities when you wild camp, lots of countries in Europe either ban it or look down on it. Just wondered what your experiences across Europe is.
We never had issues until now but we rarely stay more than one night in the same place, try to pack up early in the morning depending where we are and are mainly solo traveling. This might help a little to not overshow.
Any particular reason none of you wearing seatbelts on the trail?
Because it blocks all the time and limits the possibilities of quick checks of the trail + for filming. As all passengers help in these chores and everyone needs to be alert, we don't put them on.
