Hi and THANK YOU! I have 3 active machines. For the price, they are hard to beat. Honestly, though, it depends on what you will be doing. If using it once or twice a week, yes. If you will be starting a business I'd recommend an AR BLUE. The commercial line very good. I hope this helps! Take care!
Hi and thank you! Darren runs a training program in Los Angeles now. Every once in a while, he will post a video, and it's usually just talking and giving tips on how to improve your detailing business. Know when to say no and just walk away... things like that. Hey, take 'R easy and thanks for your time!
Doug, as always thanks for your videos. I use Purple Power Vehicle & Boat Wash Concentrated, as my strip washing or lighter application as my spring wash, It is available at most big box stores for about $9 a gallon. It has a pH of 13, not sure what the pH is when foam/bucket wash when I add a ounce or two?
Hey buddy. Funny you mention that. PP boat n RV wash is one of the best soaps out there in my opinion especially for the price! I have it in my cabinet as we speak. Love it!
I tried my best to put 2oz. Of each product t in their prospective cannons. That way it was as "FAIR" as it could . Thank you for the inquiry! Take Cate
Hey Ed, you and I agree, buddy! I don't know, but I have to think there aren't any negative consequences to using S/S. They have been selling soaps like these for decades. But hey, who knows? I was merely trying to show better options for the "Active Foam" crowd and basically to show that it's just another waste of money. I really had high hopes for the KC and P/S. They did okay, but I think a little APC in any soap would be just as effective. Thanks for watching Ed. Take care, be safe, man!
Unfair test!! You had the Stars and Stripes in the shade. Just joking. As hammered as the car was. I think they all did a great job. I honestly didn't think the Frostbite would do that good. Very good comparisons video Doug. Thanks for another great video.
Ty Timbo! You have been a channel Supporter for years and I appreciate you! It was actually great fun. I think I need some more 🧼 soaps😉. Have a great weekend Tim, Take Care!
Hey thanks for that. Most of us can't let it dwell that long. It dehydrated on the panel in like one minute. I can see we all get brands and soaps we Like. If it works for ya, stick with it. For me it's virtually useless. I have much better soaps that I'm already used to. I had to try it and I'm honestly disappointed. Next Level snow foam, for a Standard soap, worked much better in my opinion. In fact, for what the next level soap is, I'm impressed with it. I did expect my Chem-X stuff to dominate and it did. We are also comparing active foams to Heavy cleaners, touchless style soaps and a PH neutral Boat/vehicle snow foam. Believe me, I'm not Anti P&S , in fact I like some of their stuff a lot, just underwhelmed with this one. Thanks for the info and for your time!
@Ecdetails oh sweet! I think you will love that combo! Big time saver for sure, and in the winter, I use the heck out of it so I can stay warm n dry. Let me know what u think of it! Thanks for being open to at least trying it and for all the feedback!
@Ecdetails Yes, sir. Stars fist, no delay, right over its with Stripes, no delay, rinse bottom up, then top down Eddie. You will be shocked! I've tried about 5 different "TOUCHLESS" washes, and some are close, but nothing has dethroned Chem-X yet! Let me know what u think, Eddie. More importantly, reach out to Bob when you have tried it and give him direct feedback. He loves to hear from customers, and he also wants to hear what needs to be improved... very open-minded business man! Enjoy sir!
Very True. I also NEVER said it was a touchless! I used it as a prewash, and it was No better than any of the others... this soap was intended for self service vehicle washes, commercial stuff .... or am I misunderstanding? U kinda made my point. If it's just another soap, why does a company need 2, 3 or 4 "HAND WASH" soaps? Gimmick? The industry is so misleading IMO.
Great comparison!! That a lot of fun! Thank goodness Armour detail was not involved. They would be 😡. Apparently they don’t like honest reviews. Side by side comparisons. It scares them.
Hey Buddy! I tell ya, this one was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it! TBH, the new Snow Foam from Next Level blew me away! It didn't belong in this group and it did FANTASTIC in my opinion. As for Armour, I don't know a lot about them but I do know they threw a little shade on my buddy Brad over wipe on clear coats. I thought that was unprofessional of them. I also know , of the 3 glass coatings on my windshield, Armour is my least favorite. Black Rhino Rain Dance and Shine Supply Beadlock perform much better than the Armour does. Tim, this is what I cannot stand about this industry. Armour is another one of those brands that if yer not on their bus, you aren't good enough to be making comments about anything. The Entire detailing industry is full of Hype and Lies! I Love what you do my friend, just keep being the guy we Love and tune out the noise. Lord knows there is plenty of it! Take care brother!
@@detailit brother I’m Not worried about ADS. I was just shocked 😮 how aggressive/ low class they became so quickly. I have already moved on from ADS. I have not purchased their products in a long time, because I did not like a text interaction with DJ awhile back. He basically coerced me to buy a pro coating to keep my pro account open.
Yup! Next level is my next choice. Even though the stars and strips and heavy duty are great products. The big issue with them is that they are very caustic and not a soap I would use every time i would wash my dirty car Especially with coated vehicles. Here is a video that shows what I mean by soaps that are cautic. Its an older video. You will see koch chemie gsf, Meguiars Ultimate snow foam and even turtle waxes soap. ruclips.net/video/GHJDzST77C0/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Oh wow! That sure would seem crazy to me. All the Chem-X line, soaps and cleaners are Non etching and biodegradable. They are NOT CAUSTIC for sure! Reach out to them on Monday, speak with Bob or Charlie. They will assist you and send SDS sheets if need be. Enjoy!
Koch active foam is nice but it isn’t a super powerful prewash. It’s more of an elevated PH foam/soap. If you come across Koch Chemie Multi Star (MSN) that is a dedicated pre wash. I run it a little thinner as the thickest foam I find fall off and dry out too quick. I just got some and testing it out I’m pretty impressed. I’m sure it won’t beat touchless wash products, but for a prewash it’s great.
Hey thanks for that, great info! I think KC smells the best of any soap I have except for maybe Vintage Waxman. 😅 Maybe one day I'll give MSN a shot. I really appreciate your feedback man, thank you and thanks for watching this one. Take 'R easy!
Love your videos? What pressure washer are you using? Would you recommend it?

How much Heavy duty did you put on foam cannon?
I tried my best to put 2oz. Of each product t in their prospective cannons. That way it was as "FAIR" as it could . Thank you for the inquiry! Take Cate
Stars and Stripes looks the cleanest. Wondering what the long term consequences are? Great video Doug!

I happen to like frostbite a lot. I let it dwell for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Agree on ur results. When stacking stars and stipes does it become ph neutral?probably not the 1st time you lacked the length with ur hose...😆😆😆😆😆😆
🤣🤣🤣Dude! Hoses can be an issue😳😂
Great video Doug. 🔥👏👏
Hey man, Thank You! Glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun doung this one for sure! Be good out there, take care!
great video man
Eddie! Howz it? Thanks for watching, dude. I appreciate it!🤙🏼Keep pumping that content out big Dawg!

the instruction on how koch chemie active foam clearly states that it is hand wash. it never claims to be a touchless.
