being new to the culture im now learning the different ways to do a decon wash. I would have to say a 3ph wash seems better than a clay step, one less step to potentially mar the paint. Think I might have to pick up some frost bite and crystal wash I already have the radiance........... and some jtc clean maker as well!!👍🏻

I’ve been doing the same with crystal wash and griots foaming surface prep for a little while now. I think I’m going to switch to frostbite after getting a bottle from Eddie. From there I’ll rinseless with diy or absolute, and then clay towel with an iron remover.

That’s why I always flood the car with a high volume hose after pressure washing. The pressure washer is great for knocking off grime but with these new high foaming soaps any small amount will keep getting reactivated.
The hose floods out all the cracks and crevices to remove any remaining soap. You’ll still have to deal with water dripping but I’ll take that any day over soap residue especially the higher ph stuff

The only issue I have with crystal wash is that there are no visible indications that it’s removing anything, when you put it against things like iron buster and IronX it’s just tough to pick it 🫠 like why can’t it crystallize and become red or something youno

I have used the crystal wash and then wait until it crystallizes and then foam.over with higher ph snow foam. issue is that even after thoroughly washing it off ypu may still see some stains from the crystal wash. I then.habe to go.over with contact wash to.remove them.
