Thank you immensely for the tutorial. I know you don't have to spend time sharing with us but we all super appreciate it. I, however, will likely start from the top so that the very bottom bead can lay horizontally. Obviously I'll have to thread back up to add a hanging method but I never mind a little extra security when making pieces.

You inspired me to get beading again. I ordered my beads and followed this tutorial and ended up doing it a bit different. On the decrease rows I did not start with 2 beads skipping the first bridge. Instead I started with one bead an went into the first bridge thread. I thought it would be quicker to start with two beads but the time it takes to make the first bead settle in equaled out. I plan on making three pair for me and my sisters. One tube of each color will be more than enough. Thank you for posting this free with the pattern available also free.

Beautiful, easy to stitch earrings. The most difficult part of this project, at least for me, will be choosing the colors of beads to use. Thanks, Allie, for sharing this fun design with us.

Thank you for your feedback! If you look at the hot bar on the bottom of the screen you will see a little gear icon. Press on that icon and you will see "playback speeds". You can use that to slow down the speed of the video. Hope this helps!

Purchased some pear shaped Swarovski side drilled crystals about 10 years ago. Dragged them out today but can’t seem to find a nice side beaded bail for the crystal. Planning for them to be earrings. Wondering if there is a pattern or video for side drilled pear shaped crystal. I have purchased sterling silver bails for side drills before but they tarnish and customers no longer want to buy them.

Question for Allie.... If the beads aren't looking right on the brickstitch and you decide to take out a few rows, how do you do it? Is there a way to save your project without restarting again? I'm only asking because my second feather earring looked bad. The beads were not sitting right on the decreased rows and I did the stitch correctly. They were turning or not aligning with the other beads. There were gaps in the middle of a row in my project. How do you fix that? Help Allie!!!

I just use regular graph paper myself. Being it's square you can never really get a feel for how something will look as it doesn't scale well but it helps with color choices and following a pattern. Oh, and with odd count patterns I have to draw a line halfway through every other line.

There are some seed bead designs that look better with Delica seed beads. Their shape is more "boxy" rather than round. But there are also many beautiful designs that use round seed beads.
