    I love how you do the odd count! The technique is a lot easier than any I have seen. Thank you so much!

    Thank you Kelly!!! I've been avoiding odd count peyote for at least a dozen years. No more! By copying the way you hold your work I am able to get my imperfect hands to stitch odd count peyote. I added a pearl stop bead so I can grasp the tail thread with enough tension to keep my bead from sliding under the tail. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

    while in Quarantine, I am going back, reviewing some different type of off loom bead stitches and thanks to you and your way of turning and yes! w/o all that turn around business...phew! You have immensely helped in de-mystifying that aspect but the decrease as well and now can continue to bead with more confidence. A huge, huge "thank you"!! 😊

    Love, Love, LOVE This technique!! Thank you so much for making the Odd-Count so much easier! I had avoided the odd-count patterns because of all the funky turn arounds and extra steps. It never seemed to work out for me with the traditional method. Now, I'm looking forward to checking out some patterns and working with this new method! Thank so much for all that you do!

      Oh man! You have my mind racing now! I can see a "box" ornament. Do four patterns like this, but much wider, add more thread, curbe the top points inward and stitch together, then go through all 4 pieces, adding 1 or 2mm crystals or pearls at the corners of all them to make the box. If that makes sense....? I think I'll have to try this soon!

    These really turned out cool for my first odd count project. Thank you for sharing. Are the patterns somewhere for the other earrings in the thumbnail image for this video (I am seeing one that looks like little flowers). I checked out your Etsy and store but don't see a pattern for that particular one. Thank you for your awesome videos. I am looking so forward to visiting your store soon!

    Like these earring and the new way of doing odd peyote. I don't know if you noticed that you made a wrong turn during the second decrease, the tread is showing and the outer bead is kind of wonky. The only reason why I mention it is so that beginners don't do it wrong.

    Bonjour, j'adore ce que vous faite, mon seul regret vous êtes trop rapide et le cadrage n'est pas toujours bon cela fait que l'ont ne voit pas toujours tous, alors si vous pouviez allez plus doucement j'en serai très heureuse. Merci beaucoup. Et continué c'est super beau.

    Smart turn but if you made a long piece that long tail bothers.
    Have you ever consider to make an even peyote than turn your work 90 degrees and add a row in brick stitch ? This is the way I prefer :o))

    • @MystiqueRisingSun
      @MystiqueRisingSun 6 лет назад +1

      I was just about to comment the exact same thing. My problem with doing it is that I often pull the thread too tight. Making these earrings, it would be easy, but for a bracelet, the technique doesn't work for me because it's too "stiff" with that row of brick stitch. One of these days I'll learn not to pull so tightly....I hope. LOL
