I was so happy, then...it released, I watched play through softball it such as this one ... Let’s just say I’m going to have to continue the quest... To fill the void left in my heart all those years ago when cube world left me... ... ... ... No... I’m not giving up hope, I sincerely hope that the developer removes the region lock system and restores the game to its former glory, I hope that I will be able to enjoy this game again...some day...
A few things from playing as well. Every time you see a life shrine, go up to it and hit E. You will link to it, and respawn there if you die, but also you can fast travel between them on the map. The kingdom you saw is the region you are in. Everyone has a random map. After you run out of potions, you will eat food, even raw food like apples. If it's cooked/crafted food, or a potion, you just get more health from each bite/drink of it. Each weapon you have does a different primary and secondary attack, and has different stats, such as one is faster, one is wider swings to hit multiple targets, and one is going to be middle of that. Each class is a bit different on what does what, but it's basically a good base line. Your secondary attack on weapons will usually stun them if they don't already have stars over their head. And for your rogue, it looked like you were doing more damage from stealth. Your ultimate was a long term camo stealth, and your shift was stealth. Fighting the witch you could have got out of line of sight by using your stealth abilities.

My PC died yesterday, won't be able to get a replacement until a few months. So I'm clinging to youtube vids of this game, despite having it on steam already as well! Hope it'll become a fun series.
In the current game I have no idea how to make progress without xp. Just getting gold from the mobs that I do manage to kill. Also in multiplayer one does not start next to one-other and it disconnects after a while so might not be fully implemented yet.
To progress you need to kill enemies that are the same gear level as you, so when you start you need to kill enemies and do quests that are white named, after that you can move onto green then blue,purple and finally yellow. For multiplayer in order to meet up you need to talk to a flight master in town and he will transport you for free to your friend.

you level up through artifacts and gear is kinda region locked. you can still use gear outside the region but will suffer from major debuffs unless its + gear
Random Riot talk to npcs just like how you would accept quest. The only difference is when you hover over the dungeon name it will show what artifact is in there and what stat it’ll affect. I think it’s normally yellow colored. Also idk if npcs will always mark it on your map. I only found 1 dungeon with an artifact in it so far
Random Riot artifacts could also be linked to map completion too. I think Wally took out the numerical grind and switched it for a more exploration grind. You can find structures in the world that’ll progress your lore in that region. The grind is still there for better gear and special items. But there’s no need to grind in the early game anymore

Yeah it definitely had some issues, but it's still be in worked on. I feccomend watching "noob snipers" Video on the region locked gear because it's not actually region locked

Levels no longer exist, the game uses a different progression system, I learned what I know from watching Syushi
