Checking in from Fox_Fest in Japan!! Ladies are headlining yet another festival. Where they just performed this live with ElectricCallboy!! A collective oooo from the auidance. You could tell there was some huge anticipation for this building up. The performance was nothing short of epic and at the end both hugged each other. As the entire place erupted in applause and calling their names. Agree as definitely the collaboration of the year. 🤘🙀 Babymetal has been extremely busy this year. They just finished a performance in Vegas last month at the Sick New World Festival. Which in itself was an insane festival. SlipKnkot, Lamb Of God, System Of The Dawn among so many others. After Babymetal's eariler performance later in the night. Bring Me The Horizon performed and about halfway through they performed Kingslayer which wasn't on the setlist. Babymetal then came on stage which was a complete shock. Kingslayer was only the second time this was performed live with BMTH & BM. It was a f*** banger as Oli came down & both were headbanging at the end. Ladies have been insanely busy as this is their 4th collaboration in less then two years. Along with their World Tour with Dethklok last year. They are now preparing for their European tour this summer. 🤘🙀🔥
Thanks again from Japan 有難う。 Just so you know, I am going to leave home in Tokyo with a ticket to today's Fox_Fest festival, Super Mosh Pit in my hand . I am sure that I will be an eyewitness of the live debut of this song by the two amazing bands over there.
Best reaction I've seen for this song, incredible knowledge about all the technicalitiies, though you sadly missed Momometals repeating growl of Kevins ARE YOU READY.
Great collaboration it's so much fun and interesting info on growling not a fan of it, but it does take talent to do it properly dont mind in small doses . BabyMetal bubble gum sound ? Think you need to hear more BabyMetal try Monochrome at PIA Arena and hear how good they are especially Su . 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Andy you are soooo down to earth. Bro your voice is freaking epic! Don't make urself smaller as you are. You're definetly up there with the Callboys! But I really love to witness the respect both of you are showing all of those incredible vocalists. And the duo breakdown from both of you for this song is absolutely fantastic! It's not getting better than that! This channel more and more becomes my favorite!
Chris I hope you check out more BABYMETAL after this, they're truly something else! I hope they do more and more of MomoMetal screaming so you can analyze that for us too 🦊🤘
But you guys heard that the first "everybody" growl came from Momo, not from Kevin, right 😉 (also the second "let´s go" when he is holding the cables came from Momo) ... anyway, thanks for the reaction and analysis, always nice to watch 🙃
Holy crap, I love Monuments but I've never thought about just how good Andy is as a vocalist, going from normal speaking voice straight into the screams at 2:26 blew my mind XD
Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥 I don't remember following your BM journey but it's always nice to see reactors and old BM fans coming back to listen more of this amazing group. Also cool to know one of you have been touring along with EC. Some reactors and fans couldn't wait for the official MV release, but you did a great job 🦊🤘🐭lol Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more. Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. Thanks for sharing your in-depth analysis and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

What a fantastic song. What amazes me about both of these bands is their ability to perform highly “produced” music live. The ability to harmonize on both cleans and harsh vocals in order to accurately replicate all of the layering makes for such a great live experience.
What a cool sound and fun video featured here but what impressed me most is the electrifying chemistry between you and Andy as you discuss it. The energy and pure joy you both exude, feeding off each other as you watch and discuss this performance, is completely engaging and invigorating. Man, if this is a taste of your course, I say “Hell yeah!” I’m bursting with anticipation and excitement to get started.
So great to see you guys react and analyse this amazing collaboration! I've seen that you've enjoyed reacting to some performances on The First Take, like the very impressive LiSa. Babymetal have also been on there a few times! I would recommend "Monochrome", it will give you an interesting perspective on Babymetal's vocal abilities. Suzuka is a remarkable singer, I think you'd enjoy it! :)
i love that i get as much excitement from EC & BM reacts as i do first time watching the songs. i adore this collab, wish i could be in japan right now since i suspect them dropping it this weekend live together
The live version of that on Japan was (as far as I could tell) amazing fun. I wonder if the girls get to do a duet with EC on an EC concert - I think the hype will be even more there.
Man, it must be a treat exploring new music with Andy next to you. Dude just fuckin LOVES music and doesn't even bother trying to hide it. That's the shit.
Really love this video: Andy's smile when BabyMetal start their thing; totally there with you! Also, Chris. check out the First Take version of Monochrome: that's peak Su-Metal for me
Im honest. Normaly i hate screaming, thats why a lot of metal isnt my cup of tea. Im a BIG fan of EDM. But Electric Callboy does it different so you understand what they are screaming and it fits to their music. Very interessting. And this song is pure fun!
Thanks for this reaction, seems I didn't see this one before, their were so many channels putting out videos about this. But this is easily one of the best reactions/analysis. I've seen a 'fan cam' of the live performance from earlier today and it sounds like they didn't get the mixing between all the vocals right yet, I think they'll perform it again tomorrow, so I hope they'll get it right then. Hopefully release a Bly-ray. Oddly enough somehow the way Andy acts reminds me of Dan Kaminsky, famous computer security expert who sadly died far to early at the age of 42.
I’ve been hoping that Andy would develop a vocal course ever since he released his screaming tutorials on his channel. This is really incredible and exciting stuff that could be groundbreaking for singers
This was cool to see you guys break this down. This is my first time seeing your channel. Really impressed by your vocals when you were breaking down what they were doing. I’ll check out your band
Man, I fucking love Electric Callboy, I love Baby Metal and honestly Monument supporting Electric Callboy in Birmingham last years was SO fucking good.
I think, in the entire time BABYMETAL has been a thing, this is the first video that has their creator, Koba-Metal, included. (The guy hiding behind the plant.)
Best reaction to the song, since you have so much to say about Nico and Kevin etc. - I love Andy Cizek, would love to see more reactions from / with him.
Check out “Karate” by baby metal…. Perfect introduction to their style. Rob Zombie said they were the best performers at a particular festival when interviews.
Yesss! As soon as this dropped I was like “man I hope Chris had seen this!” This track made me smile from start to end. A collab that needed to happen! On top of that we get Andy hearing and perfectly mimicking the techniques on first try - cannot WAIT for the new course. Bonus: you now get to board the Babymetal train and dig in there too!
I think one of the best things about being a BABYMETAL fan for so long is the number of performers and groups they've introduced me to. I'd never heard of Electric Callboy before, but I'm totally sold.
You're in for a ride! ^^ Hypa Hypa and its many reaction videos is the best way to get really into their (new) world. (They had a different singer before and their old tracks sound rather differently. Not bad, just different. 🙂)
When they release the teaser of their collab, I was already stoked And when they finally released the song, I was soooo blown away, so heavy & so fun, what a vibe (Also, love Andy Cizek joining in the videos, love that man and signed up for the waitlist!)
Great reaction and analysis. First time watching you guys, subscribed. Wasn't sure how this collab would work when first heard about it; turned out to be great fun. BM has returned to their roots of kawaii-metal and just having fun. Matched with EC this was smiles end-to-end. 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 Oh and BM #notacult, though #possiblyacult 😁

Listened to EC in February, they are all on point. Seems like they record without coming close to their limits and then when they play live they add a little extra to the studio version making it sound better.
The interesting thing to me is that this is by far the cleanest Su-Metal's English vocals have ever been. Have to wonder if she's done an immersion course or something.
damn I loved watching your reactions for the "how to's" (I can't sing wish I could lol) but the two of you compliments each other and what an incredible reaction :)

would have been awesome if she popped out of the shadows during that part, or was lit up with the arcing lighting. would have really highlighted that she was in on that piece.
I love how Chris is so investigated into Kevins kind of Scream - IAM toooooo LOL - there is something about his sreams that makes EC so amazing
im a fellow BABYMETAL fan, and andy's genuine enthusiasm really hyped me up! nice collab content folks
You missed Momometal's growls. She does one of the Are You Ready and Everybody
Great analysis and feedback guys! I think this is Baby Metal's best collab song
I just watched it. I bet you had an awesome time! They sound great live
Chris my friend, gotta check out Babymetal’s performance of Monochrome on the first take to see what these ladies are really capable of!
Best reaction I've seen for this song, incredible knowledge about all the technicalitiies, though you sadly missed Momometals repeating growl of Kevins ARE YOU READY.
My dude, the layering and production of this song is so well done it’s not shocking to miss a thing or two
Great collaboration it's so much fun and interesting info on growling not a fan of it, but it does take talent to do it properly dont mind in small doses . BabyMetal bubble gum sound ? Think you need to hear more BabyMetal try Monochrome at PIA Arena and hear how good they are especially Su . 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I’m pretty sure the everybody growl is MOMOMETAL which is why the camera only shows her during both of the everybody growl’s
This channel more and more becomes my favorite!
hah my commented got deleted cause he knows its true lol
Lead babymetal vocal has incredible stuff I wish Chris Liepe reacts...
i dunno if anyone has mentioned it yet....but the second "ARE YOU READY?" is momo
sooo sick Electric callboy reacted to your video reacting to them!
YESSSSS :) !!
Wow! Good spot.
Momo has great growl range.
Holy crap, I love Monuments but I've never thought about just how good Andy is as a vocalist, going from normal speaking voice straight into the screams at 2:26 blew my mind XD
Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥
I don't remember following your BM journey but it's always nice to see reactors and old BM fans coming back to listen more of this amazing group.
Also cool to know one of you have been touring along with EC.
Some reactors and fans couldn't wait for the official MV release, but you did a great job 🦊🤘🐭lol
Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version.
Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently:
- F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV.
Thanks for sharing your in-depth analysis and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

Every night when the sky turns red up above

What a fantastic song.
What amazes me about both of these bands is their ability to perform highly “produced” music live. The ability to harmonize on both cleans and harsh vocals in order to accurately replicate all of the layering makes for such a great live experience.
Holy shit, you sound great.
I laughed my ass off. Your reaction deserves a reaction itself. You guys are great ! 🙂
If people dont know babymetal, u must show them "road of resistance" live 🙂
Also, Chris. check out the First Take version of Monochrome: that's peak Su-Metal for me
I just made a video on the first take Monochrome. I was blown away... will be up on the channel soon :) !
@@chrisliepe Sweet! Eagerly awaited :)
Im honest. Normaly i hate screaming, thats why a lot of metal isnt my cup of tea. Im a BIG fan of EDM. But Electric Callboy does it different so you understand what they are screaming and it fits to their music. Very interessting. And this song is pure fun!
i could swear that the 2nd "are you ready" scream comes from momoka (babymetal) :D
You guys should do more Babymetal, they're fascinating in all the different genres they play with. 🤘🦊🤘
I heard someone call it Partycore and it's a vibe
This is the best year for music
Thanks for this reaction, seems I didn't see this one before, their were so many channels putting out videos about this.
But this is easily one of the best reactions/analysis.
I've seen a 'fan cam' of the live performance from earlier today and it sounds like they didn't get the mixing between all the vocals right yet, I think they'll perform it again tomorrow, so I hope they'll get it right then. Hopefully release a Bly-ray.
Oddly enough somehow the way Andy acts reminds me of Dan Kaminsky, famous computer security expert who sadly died far to early at the age of 42.
お前達ありがとうな!俺もBABYMETAL大好きだぜ🇯🇵
Babymetal and Electric Callboy are both amazing
I’ve been hoping that Andy would develop a vocal course ever since he released his screaming tutorials on his channel. This is really incredible and exciting stuff that could be groundbreaking for singers
I love this song and video so much. Amazing song writing, metal, fun...right on.
😁😁😁A perpetual smile generator. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤
Yup, as been pointed out, Momometal screams too. I wish I were at the Fox Festival this weekend when it should be performed live.
Also having Andy on a video is just Top Tier. In person on the fly demonstration just shows how crazy talented he is!
i go fucking crazy cause i'm waiting for the drop...isn't it?
This was cool to see you guys break this down. This is my first time seeing your channel. Really impressed by your vocals when you were breaking down what they were doing. I’ll check out your band
Man, I fucking love Electric Callboy, I love Baby Metal and honestly Monument supporting Electric Callboy in Birmingham last years was SO fucking good.
I think, in the entire time BABYMETAL has been a thing, this is the first video that has their creator, Koba-Metal, included. (The guy hiding behind the plant.)
imma been a babymetal fan for almost 2 years now, you should react to more babymetal songs thoo , cause their songs is always in a different style!
Really enjoyed your analysis and conversation, some very informative insights and observations. Great reaction, thanks for posting 😎
This is the mashup we didn't know that we needed! Love your reaction!
I'm so glad you finally got into Babymetal, their lives will blow your mind 🥹🥹
Best reaction to the song, since you have so much to say about Nico and Kevin etc. - I love Andy Cizek, would love to see more reactions from / with him.
Andy Cizek in your videos? Wow! He is one of the best modern vocalists!
Check out “Karate” by baby metal…. Perfect introduction to their style. Rob Zombie said they were the best performers at a particular festival when interviews.
Andy Cizek in CO! Dude is incredible glad to have him in my state!
Such a cool reaction guys! Thank you ❤️
whenever I hear an Electric Callboy song, I'm in awe about the production level. You can't do anything better production-wise.
Same here, they introduced me to bring me the horizon too haha
@@stevienixx Same. And F. Hero. And Bodyslam. And... I'm sure you get the idea. 😂
You're in for a ride! ^^
Hypa Hypa and its many reaction videos is the best way to get really into their (new) world. (They had a different singer before and their old tracks sound rather differently. Not bad, just different. 🙂)
Thank you both for that energetic lesson/ reaction to this amazing song.😊👍
When they release the teaser of their collab, I was already stoked
And when they finally released the song, I was soooo blown away, so heavy & so fun, what a vibe
(Also, love Andy Cizek joining in the videos, love that man and signed up for the waitlist!)
Imagine WE lay down our weapons Stop hating each other Take Care of Others and start listening to this Song together😊Like every living Thing doesnt Matter where you from what you are doing how you behave are partying together.Show this song to others😊 i think this Brings us close to worldpeace
This is so amazing that! Big thanks to Chris for making this collabs with awesome vocalists. Feels so cool listen and watch nerdy vocal reactions
Love the breakdown. Love how this track is bringing so much joy 🤩 🤩
Listened to EC in February, they are all on point. Seems like they record without coming close to their limits and then when they play live they add a little extra to the studio version making it sound better.
this was such a fun reaction, and dude on the right is a sick vocalist
Love seeing Andy just being a huge Babymetal fanboy
The interesting thing to me is that this is by far the cleanest Su-Metal's English vocals have ever been. Have to wonder if she's done an immersion course or something.
damn I loved watching your reactions for the "how to's" (I can't sing wish I could lol) but the two of you compliments each other and what an incredible reaction :)
I cant believe Chris got Andrew Garfield on!
Go for reacting babymetal 🦊 🤘
i just love how you two break down the song. wish i could learn how to screem like that. this such a good song
Join the waiting list in the video description or pinned comment and Andy will teach you!
@@chrisliepe thats awesome yall doing this. just signed up
I was listening to metal on RUclips when this band Nemophila popped up with a song called Dissension. You might get a kick out of it.
Amazingly I’ve never heard of Callboy until this song. I’m a huge fan now.
