That's cool how you can set the AMD clip capture to use system ram, I use the Xbox game bar to capture funny or odd things but I'll switch if game bar is writing to my ssd.
You know, I didn't even realize gamebar could do that. I'll have to look at that when I get a chance. I can't find anything online about how gamebar records, but I'd be willing to bet it's just the SSD, since people are more likely to be ram constrained. Definitely a feature I love to see, I only realized recently how much data was being written to my drive over and over with shadowplay

Image Sharpening it's amazing, maybe in game you don't realize much, unless you look in detail, but if you take screenshots of something with that option activated and deactivated, you can realize it. I started to notice it when I played FFVIIR, with that enabled certain areas like the mouths of the characters looked a little less blurry. It also depends on the game, some have it better and others worse, and if you don't want to try putting and taking according to the game, just set it to 50% and that's it. With RSR I was able to check with games that do not natively support FSR and in the only ones that I noticed improvements are those with an anime style a la Genshin Impact. In "more realistic" games it looks much worse, but in those there is almost no difference. It happened to me that I could not reach a constant 60fps with one of those Koei Tecmo games at 1080p with everything at maximum due to its bad optimization, but with RSR at a lower resolution just to the previus one, I had the beloved 60 without sacrificing almost any quality thanks to enabling that. I still recommend taking screenshots with the AMD application if you use that option, because Steam takes them with the native resolution of the game, so those false 1080 that you see on the screen are not obtained with F12. I also think it can be used in emulators but I haven't tried anything. And Pokémon for adults is Shin Megami Tensei, Persona is for the edgy teenagers 😗
Hmm, I wonder how well RSR would compare to something like "lossless scaling" on steam, i bought it and played with it briefly since it allegedly lets you use FSR on anything. Spent 5 bucks on it, got distracted and never really tried it since. Good to know about the screenshots too. I actually dislike steam because it's a pain in the ass to get a quick screenshot for the boys on discord with it. Also, regarding persona... Yeah, you're probably right about SMT, i've just never played any of them. Only played p4g when it came out on PC and now p5r.
@@CoilWhine I am waiting for the port of SMT5, the Switch limits its potential. Regarding RSR, for me it was seen as an escalation. In my case it was around 45fps at 1080 with everything at maximum, I tried to lower the quality in shadows, dof, details and all that and I was able to leave the game at 56fps and it looked much uglier. If I lowered the resolution to 1600*900, it was only then that I could have everything at maximum, but it was still visible with several shutters( as if the game was designed to be played at 1080 or higher, all the lower resolutions were very jerky). So I got to try RSR for the first time. Luckily I only had to go down to those 1600*900 because at lower resolutions the loss of image quality was quite visible, and in movement the grasses in the distance make that effect that flickered. I think it helps in those types of cases, when you lack just a few fps, because as I already said, at 720 it wasn't worth it. I imagine that a similar case can happen from 2K to 4K, without going too far below the previous standard resolution that we have on the screen.
Instant replay is the only thing I miss from Windows. There are alternatives that work great, but you have to install third party software and you need to manually start it every time. 🤮

Hey I have a question, can you combine 2 Hdd drives into one so hypothetically 2 hard drives are working as one so the computer can run smoother, ex: 1 drive is windows, 1 drive is just free space (seperate drive), can you combine 2 of those as one? (sorry if you dont understand)
Combing the drives into one can be done a couple of different ways, depending on your goals. You can combine them into one large storage space for simplicity, though I don't see much of a benefit to that typically. If you want to make them run faster, there's always RAID, but there's drawbacks to that. Raid 0 is the fast one, but you only get the total capacity of a single drive, you're giving up storage for speed.
