For this honor for Disney 100 Years Of Wonder 🎉🎉🎉🎉
50 happy years in 1973 and in 2023 it’s gonna be sooner Disney 100
Thank You For Uploading The Disney 50 Happy Years (1973) Special.
How fitting that this would be uploaded on the 50th anniversary of the 50 Happy Years event!
And the 100th Anniversary of the Disney Corporation as a whole
Exactly. Now I'm kind of hoping that Disney does a fancy special about this on ABC or something.
@@michaelharrington4503 ah the 70s Around the Time When Disney Didn't Owned Marvel And Star Wars Because they came years Before Disney Bought them
Family Guy Didn't Exist Around this time
Wish could go back in time everything is no longer the same anymore
I just got back from Tokyo Disney Resort. It captures the magic that many of us older folks long for.
I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS IN 1973! THAT WAS WHEN I GOT THE 50 HAPPY YEARS DELUXE 2 RECORD ALBUM!
That is a fantastic album!!!
I still have it!
Finally, thank you for upload, I’m was waiting for over 17 years ago, please don’t deleted this amazing video! 😊
Thank you for putting this on RUclips. I was seven years old when I first saw this in 1973. I do notice there's some absent scenes I remember watching in this special : there was a behind-the-scenes segment from Fantasia where the animators are drawing a ballerina for live action reference for the Dance Of The Hours sequence & shows her a picture of one of the elephant dancers. Also, there was a brief scene of the soccer game from Bedknobs & Broomsticks. It was also the first time I saw anything from Robin Hood (my favorite Disney movie as a kid).
It's weird but I've come to really enjoy watching specials like these on RUclips even though they're basically giant advertisements/self-congratulatory love fests for the Disney company. It's interesting to see which movies are emphasized the most and which scenes from them. It gives you some idea of what was popular the decade each special was produced. My favorite is probably Once Upon a Mouse from 1981. I enjoy the way it dispenses with the traditional voiceover narration, making it feel less like a giant advertisement and more like a fan tribute.
At least the older ones were born out of genuine love and affection for the legacy of Walt Disney and a desire to keep it alive long after he left us.

A Unaired Documental
The clip of Jiminy singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" is from *From All of Us To All of You* because in the context of *Pinocchio,* most of the song is over the opening credits except the end, but he's still sitting on a candle holder just like the movie.
Why is "Baby Mine" only an instrumental?
They Forget to Put RESCUERS and PETE'S DRAGON on There.
This special aired in 1973. The Rescuers and Pete's Dragon both came out later in 1977.
I can think of some spaces where *Bedknobs and Broomsticks* songs would fit. It already existed by this point. @@bobsaul4872

I was 7 when this was on. I remember being surprised that Walt Disney was an actual person. I thought it was just a brand name like Betty Crocker or Juan Valdez.
Wow! Sadly, there are many who think that still!

In Honor To Celebrate *Disney™'s* " *100 Happy Years* "
Thanks for uploading this. It's pretty cool they included a sneak preview of Robin Hood (perhaps my personal favorite Disney animated film next to Zootopia) at the time it was in production. Is that the first time that happened for a Disney animated film where it was previewed publicly during production out of curiosity?
You know there's been a heep of legends and tall tales about robin hood all different too well we folks at the animal kingdom have our own version is the story of what really happened in sherwood forest
Very good job fellows throughout the 2nd patriotic long felicitous family entertaining experience week of said glorious surfside Summer July!! Congratulations 996% yo.
Excellent video dudes. 👍
Almost every animation shown in this episode is from pre-existing material. So no animator credited even the Tinkerbell animation at 40:00-40:32 has to be produced earlier and then re-filmed against a different background. So no surprise here that no animator is credited at the end of this episode.
You're the best! If I had you here, I'd give you the biggest hug of thanks!
If you’re ever in San Antonio let me know! Glad you are enjoying the shows!
