Hello Ashley, your information is always on point...I have a request can you do a video on a smart elevated style and give different examples of what a modern smart elevated style looks like in your perspective
For a specific style and niche go to this lady for advice but expanding your horizon when it comes to fashion there are definitely different types of style out there. Every year she always says the same thing like she’s stuck in one era.
how else is she suppose to expand her channel and brand. I agree is the same thing every year but is still good to come back to these videos as a reminder
I’d say that her style advice are considered timeless and most universally accepted as opposed to being ‘specific and niche’. Also, women dig this style on men.
I like her advice for a more timeless look. Meanwhile I also follow japanese fashion styles, especially for me as someone in my late 30s, the japanese do mens fashion so much better when it comes to men over 30.
I love wearing white off white pumps but it’s the keeping them clean is a pain in the ass. Even when it’s bone dry outside they still get the black marks around the sole where the dust some how attaches itself to the rubber back and sides
I feel like most people that are scared of suede either don’t have any experience with suede or they have experience with very cheap suede. High and suede can get wet with no ill effect. I’ve literally cleaned sued Shoes with a toothbrush and dish detergent
While I normally don’t agree with a lot of your recommendations this time is the exception. I love the no show sock for the summer especially with driving mocks.
With all due respect but your styles are very plain and faded. Very much corporate life kind of style. Sure, I agree with some things but what you suggest won't make you a "Fashioner", but a safe, correct and classic styler. Fashion is different, knowing when and what to combine is the essential. For example you said in a previous video about white sporty socks that are a no-go. Well, Prada styles their monolith loafers sometimes with long white sporty socks. I do tend to trust Prada more than you. Just look at the 3:44 sneakers...come on, what's fashion about that?? Plainest option you could suggest right there. But yea, sponsorship. My two cents.
I wish I could do anything other than ankle socks (No shows cause bleeding) and Adidas superstars with "WALKFIT PLATINUM FOOT ORTHOTICS" under the souls I stole from the Adidas trainers so it was not material so it does not soak up stink over time, also since its all under the insole I can put the laces nice under the insole too and have them look great, but my big toe goes through all other kind of shoes (I am only a size 9 US) and my feet are too wide for stuff like converse, even Nike will feel like its squashing my feet in, I stopped putting my dress shoes on when I went too church because people don't like seeing all the blood I don't really notice and just push through because nothing else I can do, usually put tissue and stuff but all I can do. I hope they release some nice superstars this spring/summer, Vegan would make specific people happy, those hemp ones were just a bad colour, if they actually were designed nice and coloured nice they would of looked far better and be a good hot day shoe. (Hot day in Scotland, not USA)
As in taking insoles from one Adidas shoes I own (sport pair with polymer insole) and then the superstar insole, lots of different fibbers soaking everything up, Dyslexic, so want too make sure it comes off clear.
Sorry, I just forgot to comment about the use of running snickers. Come on! Athletic shoes, or running shoes, are to be used exclusively at the gym or when you are doing sports. Never will be stylish. And this is in my opinion the worse kind of shoes you can use if you are not practicing sports or training.
@@rockygabriel7096 exactly! I have a feel pairs of real running shoes that I use to walk, to run and exercise. That’s it. But using a Nike or Adidas as a casual shoes is not the best option. Very common in South America for men, they wear it with board shorts and ts or jeans and ts. Both way looks horrendous IMHO.
@@Lucas-qy1eb Leather sneakers are going to show signs of wear quickly regardless of price, especially white ones. At a certain point you’re just paying for a name and that’s definitely the case here
You normally give good tips… But, ‘Time to show skin?’ Are these tips for men? Sorry, but I have no interest in seeing somebody else’s ankles or showing off mine. No, no, no for white or any color of sneakers! Then you show a picture of driver’s shoes and call them loafers for daily use? Have you walked in any of them? The sole is made of rubber dots! Not comfortable, too low, and the sole will be destroyed within the first week if you walk a little every day. At least the tip for Chelsea boots is very old but fortunately accurate.
What doesn't make sense is complaining about something being illogical when you have dozens of other comments to reply to and can even make your own comment, especially if you are so logical and grammatically correct.
This video is outdated. I have seen men in their 60's wear modern attire, slim smart shirt with jeans and trainers makes them look smart. Same with caps. Another problem this video is that just because the day you turn 30, your body does not go through a physical change over night. Another point is that I have seen men at 25 years of age that look well over their 30s. See the problem with this video. Would have to dislike it in this situation.
Why wouldn't we? She's a professional and does this for famous people for a living. The question is why would anyone listen to you who was obviously triggered by the video because you know you have no sense of style or game so you attack the person delivering the content.
@@neo7759 the problem with her fashion tips are they all look the same and are hella bland. It’s like we get it, dress like and be a rich preppy white boy, exactly the type that she likes.
@@Silenced_by_Utoob I hear you but for me that is where I disagree. I'm a Latino guy from Venezuela. We don't all understand fashion rules, classy timeless looks, the color wheel, seasonal dress attire, age appropriate attire, and general overall understandings of what will actually look good on a man vs something trending I saw on TikTok that will be out of style within 6 months. For that reason channels like this are great, because while you might see her suggestions and think "oh it's all the same and that is how white people dress" you're actually mistaken. She is trying to show consistent timeless simple looks for each season that don't constantly go in and out of trending. That way you only have to buy clothes every once in a while after you build up your closet. If you go and watch other fashion influencers it is usually consistent and they don't change it up a lot. Now......if you are super young and like to dress with all the tending stuff for the teens then that is your choice. But trust me after 25 women don't like that on a man and this channel has helped me tremendously in that department.

I remember back in the very early 80s we used to wear loafers with baggy Jean's and the jeans used to gather at the bottom.
Remember "tight rolling".!😂 Bonus points if you rocked Girbaud and Z. Cavaricci
What do you think of double-monkstraps rather than loafers? I tend to prefer them.
Double monkstraps definitely above loafers.... More stylish
Great video! Thank you Ashley!

Agree, dark brown and tan are goted.
Suede in my country is sadly a no-go, way too much inconsistent weather, 1 shower and that shjt is fkd.
Atlanta, I've been before (usually on my birthday). Maybe coolest store on earth!
miss Ashley is the best.
suede is fine as long as you WATERPROOF them with spray
Wax your Suede boots and they with stand up to anything, or buy waxed Suede boots, they also get a great patina with age and wearing .
Ashley, do those Koio shoes run true to size?🤔
Our Capris run true to size, just slightly large. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down!

Finally the suede chukka gets some love from Ashley.
Ashley your KOIO code of MF15 is not active?

Why are you here?
@@-Only.Facts- Because i was recommended the video then I skimmed it.
Nah we are all sick of all the slobs walking around everywhere because it's "comfortable"
So bored with white sneakers, there's gotta be a more stylish option that lets you stand out!
Stand out yes, more stylish unlikely. It's just so versatile
@neo7759 Ironically, I got some white Nikes and legitimately noticed more attention from women instantly, lol. I guess it works!
Anyone know the brand of shoe at 1:23?
Loafers yuk

I like the look of loafers...but they definitely are not that comfortable..IMO
That depends on fit and material. An unlined suede loafer feels like a slipper.

Birkenstock Bostons
Koio, way overpriced
I’m sorry but spending over $200 on basic looking sneakers is absurd. You can get 2 or 3 pairs of perfectly good sneakers for that price
It’s just a suggestion for those who seek to level up their appearance and can afford to do so
