For casual wear, I’ve been a huge fan of the Chukka for awhile! It’s not very common to see people wearing them which makes them unique and they’re super versatile. Keep up the content man! You’ve been one of my inspirations to start my channel 👍🏻
The Modest Man BTW Brock I would love to see you styling your hair in different ways , right now you have amazing long hair, why can’t you explore some new hairstyles ! Maybe you can find your perfect style who knows lol
Thanks for posting! Always enjoy the vids and appreciate the condensed and considered information 🙂 I noticed you're using a lapel mic this time, the audio is more muffled and roomy. Would you consider a shotgun mic either above you or just below pointing at you just cropped off camera? I use the Zoom shotgun mic into the H6 when not holding a mic. Just thought I'd ask. Cheers!
OSW Review HD thanks! Yeah the audio was bad in this one. Level way too low coming in and had to boost it. I prefer the shotgun but haven’t had the space to set it up in my new place. Going to try a USB desktop mic for my next vid. Thanks for the tips!
Here in Jamaica the most popular shoes for men is desert Clark's. I stand out at work and get a lot of compliments from my whole cuts which I bought online. To this day I have never seen a pair of whole cuts in our stores locally so they really turn heads because no one has ever seen shoes like them.
Tip: Try looking out for shoe brands that offer half sizes, or a double insole (like the Dutch ‘Van Lier’) if you’re an awkward shoe size for formal shoes & boots. Brands like ECCO often have removable soles, so you can add a full additional sole underneath or a half one, if you need to go a size up (as they don’t do half sizes).
1:50 "what you *can* wear" , the stress hit me because most of the time one hears "need/have" to look good. A minute detail but a great outlook on style tips.
A pair of dress boots (cap toe without brogue), Chelsea boots, oxfords, and penny loafers are in my academic/occupational dress rotation. I’ve had several pairs of suede chukkas, but they don’t last long enough compared to full grain leather.
Love getting advice about what to wear to an office from a guy that doesn’t have an office job. Not throwing shade just pointing out the irony. Keep doing your thing!
Based on this video, not good enough for a business casual setting. White Vans Authentics or Old Skools wouldn't be good enough since those are less formal than white leather minimal sneakers; even those may not be formal enough.
Maybe a dark brown cap toe oxford can be the one shoe collection, because it goes with any non-black suit, down to polo shirt and jeans. It's better to have a few pair of shoes anyway, so they have time to breath between wears.
It’s funny to hear you explain the oxfords or brogues question. I listen to your podcast and keep expecting one of your gusts to call you out on it during “rapid fire”! Keep up the great work
Nah homie here’s the real list. Black Air Force ones Yeezy 350 onyx Yeezy 700 all black Jordan 13 black cat And if you wanna flex on your co-workers wear some Travis Scott black phantoms Trust me if you pull up to work in the black phantoms you gonna be the must dripped out person in the office.
Yeah... have fun plodding in heavy rain or changing a tire with these things. Plus, wearing these with some prissy dress-socks means some stank-ass feet at the end of the day. Most of these goofy shoes don't even breath well, and uncomfortable as hell. Get a good looking pair of cowboy boots or work-boots (Georgia, Red Wing, Justin, etc.)
Funny how in the US, people are still required to dress formally at work. I'm not saying it as a bad thing. But here in Europe, a sneakers, jeans, t-shirt and bomber is perfectly fine for almost any workplace. Except maybe banks and other places where people work with clients. IT sector even wears running shoes and joggers to work and nobody gives a fcuk. Anyway, I like fashion and try to be classy, which brings me compliments, but nasty comments as well.
brock, not sure why, but you look older. imo, it could be the hair. i prefer you with shorter hair; used to suit your style and your proportions more. cheers!
@SIX PACK ABS if you don't get my point, then there is nth that I can do. What I meant was that he looks older in the video than his actual age. I'm not saying ppl shouldn't/don't age with time. I didn't for once say he should dress like a 18yo. So much for "most stupidest comment"...when you already said "stupidest" , why must you put "most" LOL
@the modest man! I am not gonna lie, this hair style doesn't suit u at all, ur face looks bigger compare to ur body and u look a bit old too! This is just my opinion, though I love ur content! Keep up the good work mate!
Don't wear Chelsea Boots and formal suits together ... Suits should be worn with shoes with laces ..elastic sided 'riding' or Chelsea Boots are a no no with suits!
That's just your sartorial taste, lad. Us, gentlemen, can dress however we like. You dress whatever you see fit, after all, fashion rules can still be broken.

2 vs 5 💕
I’ve been wanting chukka boots for so long now
Do it! They’re really a great investment if you are able to save up a bit.

My business casual is home slippers.... Since we are working from home..

That video hits home. I was watching this video while wearing Nike killshots at the office, and yes my office requires us to wear business casual 😅😅
Working at a bank, took Killshots and jeans with a black tee to work today haha
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you!
1:50 "what you *can* wear" , the stress hit me because most of the time one hears "need/have" to look good. A minute detail but a great outlook on style tips.
I work a trade and I wear work boots obviously, when I get off I wear casual boots like red wing’s heritage line.
A pair of dress boots (cap toe without brogue), Chelsea boots, oxfords, and penny loafers are in my academic/occupational dress rotation. I’ve had several pairs of suede chukkas, but they don’t last long enough compared to full grain leather.
I think we need an updated video!
Well done! Start to finish. (It hurt when you slammed my Stan Smiths, though :-)
Very nice 👌 informative video keep it up 👍 Bro
great video
Clark's desert boot. Can't go wrong.
CDB are my go to weekend jeans and chinos footwear. I would go w/ a more structured chukka for business casual.
Nice pic of the killshot 2.0, I have those. They are good casual shoes for going out... def not business casual
Flat footed here which shoe should I go with ? For best comfort ? Please help I stand all day for work and it’s painful! 😭
Great video. What kind of socks are you wearing with your shoes? The solid color, wide ribbed socks.
Love getting advice about what to wear to an office from a guy that doesn’t have an office job. Not throwing shade just pointing out the irony. Keep doing your thing!
True, not anymore. But I did work in offices for almost 10 years.
Thoughts on all white canvas shoes like vans old skools?
Based on this video, not good enough for a business casual setting. White Vans Authentics or Old Skools wouldn't be good enough since those are less formal than white leather minimal sneakers; even those may not be formal enough.
I like double Monk Strap shoes

Love male shoe!.. so elegant!.. even the casual ones... thanks!

Which one is right for most people?
Dress boots, Derby and Chelsea boots.

Watches while wearing Doc Martens...at work.
Gtfo then, this place is not for childish shoes
Doc all day
@@jeremyemilio9378 dont get too salty kid he has his own oppinion
What about balmoral dress boots?
those are just oxfords in forms of boots. I would count them as dressy work boots.
Can you do a video of pull&bear sizing on there jackets 🧥 I wanted to know what size to get because I’m about 5”6
Elias Torres size S
me watching this with sneakers on...
Are any of these considered dress shoes? Not boots.
Long time no see handsome ! Watching this with my father lol he's inspired by your hair style and said these are my fvt shoes lol
polo + jeans/chinos what shoes should i wear?
Any of these, but the more casual ones will work better (loafers, chukkas, bluchers).
@@BrockMcGoff thanks :D
going to get one soon ^^
is this brand good ? Ecco
I prefer blucher type shoes with business casual/chinos...they're not too dressy, not too casual.
Handsome dude 😍♥️
meanwhile everyone in my office wears jeans,t-shirt, and baseball hats.
Lmaooo I own four of the shoes in the thumbnail #exposed
Nah homie here’s the real list.

Me watching this at work with Killshot 2s on me feet. 🤓
😭did your manager say anything ?
Shawn White traded in his snowboard for a suit n tie

arodfantennis People in the US are not required to dress formally at work. That’s false. Do you know what “formal” means?
Even his here in Europe is wrong also..
Sorry but boots, clean sneakers, and chukkas can look great with business casual, especially where I work.
brock, not sure why, but you look older. imo, it could be the hair. i prefer you with shorter hair; used to suit your style and your proportions more. cheers!

But, also, I work at the largest custody bank in the world. We are allowed to wear jeans and athletic shoes everyday. Culture has changed
Even if it's allowed, I wouldn't wear actual athletic shoes to work (or anytime I'm not doing something athletic).
The Modest Man I agree. I still wear chinos/khakis everyday. It’s just business casual for a getting more and more casual
@the modest man! I am not gonna lie, this hair style doesn't suit u at all, ur face looks bigger compare to ur body and u look a bit old too!

It looks a *lot* different today. Video coming soon ;)
