Thank you so much for this video, Manuel explains the golf set up and swing motion in such a way that I have never experienced in my life, I am 76 years young. I wish I had this golf knowledge explained to me with such clarity many years ago I would have played a lot better. I am looking forward to my next game so I will try to use some of this knowledge gained with this marvellous video thanks, Bill G.

This swing is amazing! Been working on it for a few years. Bought Ernest Jones books and Manuels books and now devouring these incredible videos-Trish at 8:15 golf on RUclips is an amazing teacher and ambassador! Saved my golf game! Am a 5.4 Index (if my putting sharpened up a bit, could go lower for sure! Am blessed to be able to watch these lessons! Thank You!!

I played yesterday for the first time using this swing philosophy/technique.
Although I shot around what I usually do, it was the most enjoyable 18 I’ve ever played, in that I wasn’t constantly stressed with trying to employ multiple swing thoughts.

Manuel is such a gentleman. I attended a PGA seminar he conducted in Reno and he was as impressive as a person as he was a coach.

I just ordered the book and am looking forward to it. I kinda stumbled into this with another instructor who has a similar book around a the concept. But it's more about the body swinging. I had some success with it - but it didn't feel right.
Just by dumb luck I stumbled into the making the motion with my arms yesterday. I just thought about swinging the clubhead back to plane to 11:00 and letting my arms swing back. I was hitting great iron shots the felt efficient. I found the same thing at a range session this morning.
It feels like this is the missing link I had on HOW to make that move. Enjoyed th4e video and look forward to reading the book.

One thing he teaches is ... never worry about how ... just about WHAT to do ... the task, not the how ... you don't worry about how to walk out a door, or climb steps, or drive a car, or throw a ball ... you just DO it

This cat plays a semantics game. I couldn't even hit an iron until they told me to hit down on it and that ball popped up and spun backwards for the first time ever.

Clubs are designed with shaft lean no? Which would put hands ahead at impact, with his grip the club would be open.

    • @jacobr4558

Yes but his swing is 100% circular so it's all just a matter of getting the face where you want it to be through either a grip roll or some sort of rotational motion. You could even just adjust ball position but everything is pretty much on a circle.

i can swing like this and it will work for a while and then it goes off and i'm off to some other swing idea but i can return to it at some point and it works again. i figure it's just the way golf is for me.

I know you have heard golf is a very high percentage of the mental side of this crazy game. It matters how you swing but in this game. The ball and the club don't have a brain, somebody has to do the thinking. As a career and professional caddie,"If You Think Better,You Will Play Better".I hope this helps😊
