    If you are going to do this, do your own research.
    Above all else,
    1) Check your own Snellen.
    2) If at 20/60, use Peter's concept.
    3) Recovery is indeed a slow process.
    4) A minus lens CAUSES myopia in all fundamental eyes!
    I hope Peter is totally successful with his efforts!

      Thanks Otie. I appreciate your well wishes!
      I agree, everyone should do a bit of their own research. Once done, people will realise that 1000's of people have reversed their myopia. Once convinced that it is indeed possible it is time to get started.
      Yes if you are in the 20/60 region (roughly equivalent to -1.00 dioptres) starting with the active focus technique shown here @ will help to reduce myopia. People can then incorporate this into your daily life and use it to clear up long distance blur also.
      If the myopia is worse than 20/60 (~1.00 dioptres) then using 0.25 dioptre incremental reductions of the prescription combined with active focus should help. This is what I have used to resolve my myopia and see 20/20 again. I discuss this in much greater detail in my courses. Too much to illustrate here in a RUclips comment. 😉
      Love your comment about the Snellen. Everybody should have one to learn about there own eyesight. If you test yourself regularly you will see how it fluctuates from day to day. Also from morning to evening. You can also keep a record of your own improvement and see for yourself that things are getting better.

    Hey there, Lucky me!
    I just came across your channel while searching if I should wear glasses all the time. I started wearing glasses 2 years ago (should've worn it earlier but I pretended I was good)
    So, yesterday I got my checkup and my diopters or whatever that is... Has gone worse... Like.. It has increased around like 1.00 (myopic)... Now I feel like I was able to see things clearly before wearing those glasses. Also, I feel so much dependant on those glasses. I need for school and stuff... What do I do now to prevent it from getting worse?

    My prescription goes as follows. Sph -1.75 cyl -.25 (OD) -.75 (OS) axis 170 (OD) 025 (OS) could this technique possibly work for me? (I know it’s not a guarantee just wondering based off my prescription) I started wearing glasses in 7th grade cause long distance started getting blurry) I’m almost 33 now. I guess I’m a little confused on the lowering your prescription I do have what my eye doctor said is a low prescription, so just wondering if I can just take my glasses off to do this stuff or do I have to get a slightly lower prescription as I just went to the eye doctor yesterday and they had prescribed me a slightly higher prescription for my left eye and I haven’t ordered anything yet so I’m just wondering moving forward if I should fill the prescription the exact way she did it using my own line eyeglass place or should I drop something down a little bit?

    ill try this. i had amazing eyesight when i was younger. i was literally the only one in the family who wasn't nearsighted. guess what. my increased use of technology caused me to end up with myopia. i hope active focus works.

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  2 года назад +2

      Same here. I had great eyesight until I was about 12 or so. My descent into myopia started with increased close-up use with books, video games, TV etc.
      I hope active focus works for you. Limiting phone use combined with challenging distance vision is a great recipe for improvement.

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  3 года назад +1

      I began researching how to reverse myopia in 2008. Along the way I have made many mistakes, but that's ok, that is how we learn. I reduced about 0.75 dioptres from 2008 to 2019. So in 2019 my prescription was -1.25 dioptres. Then I learned how to active focus. This was the key missing part to accelerate my progress. Once I incorporated active focus I went from -1.25 to 20/20 in about 18 months.

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  3 года назад +1

      @@paintingandcraftsss You're welcome. Yes you blink as normal when active focusing. Sometimes if the image isn't clearing up quickly it can help to take a long blink or a few quick blinks and you may notice the image clearing up. These are things which help you find active focus in the beginning. Once you have found it, it will become a natural thing for you to do.

      @seeclearly  3 года назад

      @@paintingandcraftsssSorry for the delay getting back to you on this question. It depends really. The more the better as long as you're not overdoing it and straining your visual system. As usual listen to your body and let that be your guide. If you have differential glasses (close-up) you can active focus when you're also doing close-up work. Hope that helps.

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  3 года назад +1

      Yes, that's true. The point I was trying to get across is that active focusing is what will improve your myopia rather than an exercise such as this one. Also, I have found active focusing into the distance best for both improving myopia and improving divergence simultaneously.

    Does active focus mean trying to read without glasses?

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  10 месяцев назад +1

      It can be done with or without glasses. Simply put, Active focus is the process of bringing something into focus that moments prior was readable but slightly blurry.
      Find something that is slightly blurry - it's easiest to begin with text - then look at it in a relaxed manner but with intention. You may notice that the level of focus may increase and decrease. When it increases, this is active focus. It's a hard one to explain but easy to understand once you have tried it and got it.

    How many times do I have to do this exercise? And how many minutes?

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  2 года назад +1

      I'm being tongue-in-cheek by calling it an exercise. It's more like a habit. So after learning how to do it, I would do it throughout the day at various times. In the beginning, the priority is to learn how to do it properly. No strain, no squinting, just doing it in a relaxed manner.

      @@seeclearly alright thank you!, should I use my old weaker glasses when staying at the house and on my phone?

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  2 года назад +1

      @@emanessa8795 using differential glasses is best for this. Typically these are 1.5 dioptres lower than your full prescription. But it's best to test this for yourself.
      Depending on your prescription you may not need to use your glasses to see it. A basic principle is if you can see something without glasses then there's no need to wear them for that particular thing.

    daily minimum time for active focus

    • @seeclearly
      @seeclearly  8 месяцев назад +1

      That's a frequent question and it's impossible to give a numeric answer for because it depends on what your daily habits are. For example if you're spending 3 hours on the phone with it held close to your eyes everyday, it's going to be difficult to make improvements no matter how much active focus you do. So, it's key to have good eye habits throughout the day. If we assume good eye habits, then as little as 10 minutes per day doing active focus should yield improvements.

I'm doing this to help people but I can't do it for free as I have to pay for website hosting, admin costs etc. Simple. Can I ask, do you do your job for free? If not, then why not?
