Thank you so much for all of the advice. My father took his own life back in 2016 and I'm just now getting the strength to be able to go through our family photos. I realized today how devastated I would be if I lost all of these photos so I greatly appreciate your knowledge on the topic. I'm going to do some googling. Hopefully I can find some good archive quality stuff
When I asked my archivist friend, the most important thing is that you use a flatbed scanner. Don't risk damage to your photos by using an auto feed type scanner.
What should we put kn between photos? Im thinking of using a cardboard box but should I put a photo per envelope? Or use slme sort of paper in between photos? That way i can sqve mor than one photo in an envelope
