The Care and Preservation of Family Photographs

The Care and Preservation of Family Photographs provides an overview about the care and handling of family photographs, dos and don'ts for the proper care of your photographs, and when to consult a conservator for those photographs that are badly damaged. A list of resources is provided. This tutorial is the fourth in a series of basic tutorials, "The Care and Handling of Family Papers, Photographs, and Essential Records" developed by the State Historical Records Advisory Board in collaboration with the State Archives of North Carolina. These tutorials were funded by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

it took me while to find a video of this type because of the name which indicates a lesser excellence than it is. Photo Archiving Standards or Archival Practices for example would be . the name this video deserves.
