Bike sounds good! I had one almost 30 yrs ago and am bringing another one back to life right now. This video is some nice inspiration. Can't wait. Comfortable yet capable bike.
I have a 1987 as well and I love it!! Im 5'8 135 pounds and I feel so good on the bike, I had a 1994 fzr600r Genesis before this one and it was way heavier and not even close to as nimble!! So glad I made the switch.
I still have dreams about my 1987 White/Red Hurricane that I bought new. That bike was soo smooth and sexy. Pales in comparison to todays more powerful bikes but at the time, it was a little demon.
Was just reminiscing about my younger days and saw this. I had the first one in Georgia. Paid cash $3400.00 Was still in the crate. I had the pearl white with red stripes. Think I just turned 18. I'm 55yo now.
@@marcsimmons9706Awesome!. Those are some very nice bikes. I had to much fun with it. Watch the lean angle on the right side because that buffer gets to the pavement quick lol. Enjoy!
I road that bike home after I got out of the Marines, in 92. Camp Pendleton Ca. to Rochester, NY 3300 miles from door to door
I rode the exact same bike home when I left the Navy in 95. Virginia to Florida, and I couldn't feel my nuts or my legs for most of the ride
@@hughjass1835 long hard ride :-) but we did what hardly anyone can say they have done
Thanks for the memories. I bought a brand new 1987 pearl white with the red stripes. Would love to take one for a ride one more time
Same here. Exact year and color.
Buy one!

Lovely video, thanks for posting it! I bought a beater 87 and restored it to original colors: black with red stripes graphics. Great sounding engine!
