TheSpyChecker Although if you over brake for corners, it's harder to regain speed unlike riding a more powerful bike, I wouldn't say it's easy, I'd say it's different, although it's a light bike, it's unsprung weight isn't to good add lack of power and that's a bad combination....My RR is basically stock and I find myself going up against much bigger bikes often, I can only stay ahead in the technical sections but when the road straightens up they just reel me in like I was stood still.
Oh no doubt. The twistier the road is, the easier it will be to go quicker on a 250. But get a skilled rider on a 600 and you'll stand no chance. I won't even mention straights, as obviously more torque = faster.

Everything stock as far as I know. Exhaust is 4-2-1 however.
overbrakers ruin curves for fast RIDERS
Te comiste cada curva como los grandes ....perfecto hay que hacerle ver a los que usan mil que no es la moto es el piloto
Very nice riding. That R6 is not bad him/herself. What tyres did you use?
Using Michelin pilotpower road sport - single compound tire. Have found them excellent on the 250 and have been through a few sets to confirm it.
I love my baby blade, heaps of people give me shit for staying on a little bike. Good to see you stick it to the big boys
great riding mate...
if only the newer 250r is that shit
what tyres are you using? i've also got a 1991 mc22 in the same colours as yours. ive looked to no avail but would you know if there are carbon fibre rims for them? awesome video the guy on the r6 must be mightily peeved that a 250 was keeping up to him
I was using Michelin pilot road sport at the time of this video. Those were discontinued so I'm now using s21 tires which are a step down in performance, but still pretty good. S22 tires have just been released so I may try them next. I haven't seen any carbon rims, but haven't looked much to be honest.
@@SportbikerNZ thanks I'll try them out on my next change :-)
that's awesome, love how late you brake and how early you can get on the power. It's not like the guy on the R6 is mucking around either!
that lightweight...high rev end does make a difference againt the "big ones". Great video Cheers
wow nine vid..! is that OEM carb...? i have 2 mc22 and one is FCR28 and KENSO bakudan stage2 kit..
i really love the MC22...!
Just assumed it was his own bike but re-reading he does actually just state that this is an example of what they can do =)
Hello,
Really nice video. I didn't realize this little bike can be so much fun!
I am getting one myself as a first bike. They seem to be pretty rare now in Europe. Not sure if it is because no one wants to sell or they are getting too old.
Can you recommend something to explicitly look for when buying it - like things that are well known to go bad after some years?
Thanks!
Radoslav Stefanov They are great bikes. Nothing particular to look out for. The motors are very solid and no cam chain tensioning to worry about as they use gear driven cams. Check the oil level and go for a ride. If the footpeg and handgrip rubber is very worn it may have gone around the clock - over 100,000 k's.
hi, what is the size of your rear tire thanks
150/60
