I have the essential phone. It has an amazing build that no other flagship offers. Battery life is great and the essential team has fortnightly Reddit AMAs to get feedback. The software updates keep coming in and the camera is not half as bad as people were led to believe. With updates, it has really improved leaps and bounds. Overall it's a sweet device with the same software and specs as a pixel. I would have been disappointed if essential was on this list.
Anmol yes they did but the damage was done. I was very close to buying it when it was about $400 on Cyber Monday but DAT camera stopped me from doing so.

Currently using my nextbit Robin to write this comment. This phone was bought in September 2016, and is absolute shit now. It won't even chare anymore. I plug it in, leave it overnight, and come back to see, that it actually drains the battery if I let it charge. Sometimes it works tho. Still quiet happy about this 300 euro phone. My oneplus 6 is arriving Monday tho, so I'm happy about that

I had one (Note FE), and it is definitely the best smartphone design for pre infinity display era, because of the symmetrical design all around in the top bottom and sides, perfect size in the hand, and symmetrical edge display just sexy and oozes class. The only one can tops it will be a truly notchless infinity display with underscreen camera & fingerprint sensor.

Blackberry Storm is actually a good device, even without the Wifi capability. Back then, not many spot provide Wifi service yet around here. They made it better in Storm 2, and then the Monaco. I used all three and enjoyed them.

Not really a fail but more of a greedy decision. Same thing happened with removable batteries, phones could easily be made waterproof of up to IPS68 (the same level that the latest phones have) with the removable batteries but people delude themselves that it isn't possible when companies have already done it. There is absolutely zero justification for taking out the headphone jack or not including a micro sd card other than for exploiting consumers. People who defend these actions are literally masochists or fanatics about their company.
I know two people who got the Amazon fire phone. They both liked it for the most part. You could customize it to get Google play on it, so the app limits were relatively easy to overcome. It looked cool to me.

The problen wasnt the heat of the battery on the note7 it was that the rounded corners made the anode and cathode bend together inside the battery causing a short circuit

Same thing happened with removable batteries, phones could easily be made waterproof of up to IPS68 (the same level that the latest phones have) with the removable batteries but people delude themselves that it isn't possible when companies have already done it. There is absolutely zero justification for taking out the headphone jack or not including a micro sd card other than for exploiting consumers.

The problen wasnt the heat of the battery on the note7 it was that the rounded corners made the anode and cathode bend together inside the battery causing a short circuit
