I literally apply to cruise ships when I’m feeling depressed because I think the escape is what I need but the idea of being trapped in the middle of the ocean working where you live , I think I’d jump 😌🤣
I don't really like rewatch podcasts, which is why i like the Neds Declassified podcast because they do briefly summarize the episode plot but mostly they talk about anything from behind the scenes stuff, guests from the show, and just like what experiences they had after Ned's. It's super interesting to me rather than reliving the tv show ive already seen
I went on my first cruise last year, and it was also an Alaskan/Canadian one on Norwegian. I went on the cruise with a friend who had previously booked it before the pandemic for her grandparents, but due to their age and mobility concerns, they told us to go. She got so many upgrades due to it getting pushed back because of the pandemic, so we had VIP treatment the entire time, which was genuinely so great. I don’t know if I could ever go on another cruise without all the extras we got. But it was definitely like being on another planet.
The way they pretend to be the guest every episode reminds me of playing radio show w my little sister 😂 we’d record it on a tape player and my mom pawned it w our fake radio show on it so hopefully it gave someone a giggle 😂
I love the visual of Sarah unwinding by watching compilations of people getting left at a the pier lmao. I'm going to have to fall down that rabbit hole myself as well as recommend boating fails compilations; the channel "boat zone" to be specific. I could watch people not know how to operate a boat for hours! It's also just as informative about the mishaps in the comments lol.
I love when you guys go into in depth discussions on these episode's, like Kendahl making me realize just how neglected the elderly kinda are in the US. If you did an episode on the new Barbie movie I'd really love to hear your thoughts on it and everything surrounding it! Thanks for the ep.
I love this so much. Sarah understands the impact of conserving propaganda on southern culture so well and Kendra has such clarity on how older people are treated. I know they are silly and fuck around, but they are smart as hell
So… I love you all. Love this podcast. I was listening to this episode the other day while driving 5 hours with my 3 very young kids/babies. It was a beautiful sunny day until suddenly it wasn’t. Huge downpour and hail and there was an effing tornado next to the highway. I was shaking in fear and panic and y’all were jabbering on about cruises. So. This podcast is forever seared in my mind. 😅😳 FYI tornadoes are my biggest fear in life. This could not have happened to a worse person .😅🫣😖
I think tv podcasts are a fun way for fans to interact with celebrities (they respond to comments and answer questions) and it's cool to hear behind the scenes things that we didn't know before or have access to. I like hearing about the cast experience on Wizards of Waverly Pod. And it's nice to see their friendships years later. It's not really escapism for me, I just really like learning about the writing room, auditions, original storylines, and how things worked on set.
I understand the point about nostalgiacore and the podcasts that former cast members of popular shows make, but at the same time they’re basically the same thing as when you used to buy a dvd and they had an option on the menu to watch with cast/director’s commentary. If you really love a show or are interested in the entertainment industry it’s actually pretty fascinating to hear what the creators and actors have to say about the process of making it. It’s also pretty interesting in the recent waves of podcasts to hear what these people have to say about what it was really like being manufactured child stars in these huge Nick and Disney machines. I had the same opinion as you guys did but then I listened to a few episodes of the Ned’s podcast and it’s actually so interesting, and all of them have grown into extremely cool adults.
Wait you guys should talk about the influencers who WORK on the cruises and make tik toks and RUclips shorts about what it’s like to live and work there it’s sooo damn interesting
I know this is not relevant to cruises but when Kendall talked about $13 spirit flights and it not “being safe” that made me sad. I’m a flight attendant and I promise you ALL airlines have to be regulated and safe by FAA standards. Even the cheap ones. It’s $13 base price and then they charge for extra add ons (bags, seats, etc) if someone even needs the add ons. Even with all the extras.. it’s still often cheaper than the big airlines. ULCC are necessary for giving people with less money the option to fly :)
That's good to hear. I missed that part of the podcast but I figure the low cost was bc your not as comfortable and have no TV, not because you're more likely to be harmed
@@nuclearseahorse It was in the beginning and this is common misconception/joke that people make about “if it’s cheap it must be unsafe” But yes most ULCC are bare bones just to get you from point A to B. Recently my airline sold our old planes to United. They slap new paint on and get better seats sure.. but it’s still the same airplane in the sky as far as safety goes
i think the disney show that was popular when i was on my way out of that phase of life was A.N.T. farm and of course i thought it was worse than the shows i was already watching! the characters were like 3 years younger than me!! And i only recognize a couple of the actors nowadays
Love this podcast! I never miss an episode! It would be so helpful to add any trigger warnings about topics in each episode that might be uncomfortable for some sensitive listeners like myself. For example, I would have loved to have seen an emetophobia warning in this video's description as there were many parts where vomiting was described in great detail. This way I could have either prepared myself or decided if the episode wasn't good for my mental health to watch. Just a friendly suggestion! ❤
Y’all zoc doc gives me lists of people and everyone is out of network. I appreciate you putting a resource out there but it just makes me depressed seeing how inaccessible healthcare is.
it's about BCCing someone in an email. there's an option to CC or BCC people and it creates a chain. hence why they say 'welcome to the chain' at the beginning of episodes
my boss is going on a cruise and i ruined a little bit of the magic by begging her to not get off at any port by herself in case she gets kidnapped 😭 sorry felica
what’s “funny” about inaccessibility is that if you frame it in a capitalist point of view it makes no sense. You CAN make more money by being accessible. By widening your accessibility that allows for more costumers. Aka more money. I’ve never understood why businesses are so adamant on not being up to par. COME ON CAPITALIST THINK
I would love to buy skims, I’d love to help support you guys in that way. But I wont support a woman (and/or her family) who has greatly and negatively impacted our beauty and body standards. Skims isn’t made for us, its made for money.
The part at the beginning where they are just not understanding each other about gyms for several minutes is so funny to me
I literally apply to cruise ships when I’m feeling depressed because I think the escape is what I need but the idea of being trapped in the middle of the ocean working where you live , I think I’d jump 😌🤣
i do the same thing but yeah it’s like a 7 day work week

The part about elderly people watching Fox News really makes me appreciate my cnn grandma lol
I have a cnn grandma too, thank god bc the only other ppl in my family who arent conservatives are me and my cousin in our early 20s

I tried rewatching old shows like Doug or Lizzie Macguire and I got so bored. I couldn't believe how much patience I used to have with these shows.

Okay skims sponsor purrr Hurd y’all congrats
Omg why do my pets always get stuck at the age of 8 too? 😂😂
I've had 3 cats that for years I thought were 8 and then realized we're like 11 lmao
Lmao my cat is almost 12 and she hasnt aged at all
"Is that weird?"
Me: yes
Sarah: .... yes
37:06 *moira rose* YYYYYYEEEESSSS! preach it Sarah
the cruiser part at the end is so funny when Sarah thought Andy was male

Said like someone on the inside * squints at yew * 😂
How does an airline make money that way though? And why don't more people do it lol. I'm amazed there's flights for $13, that's wild to me.
@@jinx17They charge a fuck ton for add ons and are very stingy. You get basically none of the basics of a flight from a regular airline
Y’all need to read about crip time 45:36
love you sarah!!!

Your talk about RV living and such makes me think you'd have alot to say on Vanlife ™️
I love it here

I agree with this I have emetophobia thats gotten better over the years but things like that still make me real nervous and uncomfortable.
I’m so early there’s barley any comments to read! Just what I needed on my Wednesday fr
I comment as I listen but I delete most of them bc a voice in my head tells me I’m annoying so I’m sorry 🙏🏾 I love you both sm
I work for a cruise line, and the only thing I could correct was that they are ships, not boats 😂
Love love love y’all
Y’all zoc doc gives me lists of people and everyone is out of network. I appreciate you putting a resource out there but it just makes me depressed seeing how inaccessible healthcare is.

I got fed a cruise AD and just using my AirPods making my kid breakfast thought it was a vlogger yall we’re gonna roast until it went on too long
I’ve been watching this show religiously and I still haven’t caught what the BCC stands for lol. Can someone tell me?
jk, it stands for blind carbon copy. they talk about it on ep 15 at about 1:50 time mark
it's about BCCing someone in an email. there's an option to CC or BCC people and it creates a chain. hence why they say 'welcome to the chain' at the beginning of episodes
I thought it was friend of bill
Them supporting Kim K (Skims) is bizarre

It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this? *stares in Titanic and Titan submersible*
ima have to disagree ab the disney channel shows 🫢even my 10 y/o sister thinks our generation of disney channel was better 😂
