In Russia all their commuter trains are new and the very old are beautifully restored and put the good use, the Russians don't let anything go to waste their Subway buildings are immaculate not one speck of trash, the old 1800 buildings are beautifully restored, it seems almost anywhere in Russia you go people are paying with their cell phones.
I found those cab cars in a metrolink yard close to San Bernardino Depot on google Earth but they looked like regular bi-levels. I just happened to be recording on that train and it passed those cab cars. There were also some New Jersey Transit cars there too.

Yeah back in the day when metrolink used to use matching cars it looked really good

Only the old cab cars are out of service. The other bombardier cars are being refurbished

Metrolink got rid of them because since they had flat cabs, they would be too dangerous if they suffered a head on collision with a car.

Metrolink's Moorpark yard has a few old cab cars in good condition stored there. They haven't been moved in years.

They actually don't have graffiti. I ride the VC line every Monday so I see that yard often as I ride by.

However, I did know that there would be cars there but not those really old ones that Metrolink doesn’t use anymore
