Adding legs to an oak dresser

Adding legs to a dresser can be easy. This solid built custom oak dresser had a great foundation to add legs. I need to add a 2 x 4 just to increase the reveal for the legs and it also added stability.
This is the step-by-step process I used to add legs to this vintage dresser
These legs were purchased unfinished from Amazon, and that included the hanger bolts and the plates for installation.
I stained the legs with a dark walnut stain and seal them with a general finishes, high-performance flat topcoat to match the top of the dresser.
