We lived in Indiana where the summers get very very hot. Alpacas are native to mountainous areas and are not exposed to 100 degree weather. If you have never lived in Indiana, you don't know how the weather is. It gets to the extreme :( RIP CHEWY!!
I miss my Alpaca :( His name was Chewy.. we named him that after Chubaca because he sounded like one when he made a noise. He died of overheat because my step=dad forgot to shave him.. I loved him so much.. he got high with me once. It was so fun.
