      It is Said That Yoda used a Rare Force Ability to Enhance himself and Make himself More Agile and Quick and Terrifyingly Powerful both with the Blade and With the Force that’s why Against Dooku he walked in on his Cane he looked Old Out of shape And Not someone you’d Expect to Keep up and Match Dooku Blade for Blade Yoda used the Force to Increase his strength Speed and accuracy I think the Ability is Called Force Valor But that’s exactly what he used against Palpatine He was An Indeed Powerful Jedi master that’s for sure

      This talk of Yoda's age reminds me of a crazy theory I had in high school.
      I figured Yoda was actually a human.
      My "clue" was the line "When 900 years old you become, not so good you will look, hmm?".
      People tend to get more hunched over and shorter as they get older. Hair can grow out their ears. Their skin might also turn an unhealthy shade after long enough.
      So... Yoda was what happens when humans get *THAT* old.
      (Of course, this theory came about long LONG before Disney ever bought Star Wars. So well before Grogu was ever introduced. Heck, Lucas hadn't even released all of the prequel series yet.)

    • @beentheredonethat5908
      @beentheredonethat5908 Месяц назад

      @AustynSN In human years he was in his late 60s and yes the dark side had caused lots of damage, as it ages you and plus tge damage from his force lighting bouncing back at him..
      Still, he was elderly for a human. Samething happened to count dooku. He was getting old, being a dark side user and human was always an issue , tgey tended to be tge strongest in the force in many cases , but the short life time and tolls of the dark would always.ge a huge limiting factor. Which js why the constant attempts to prolong lufe or force transfer was always a limiting factor to them.

    I think I recall instances in the lore (probably legends) where Sideous would reflect somewhat fondly on the conversations and time spent with Yoda back when he was Palpatine. Though much of it was due to the satisfaction of being the lord of the Sith hiding in plain sight, it also seemed like it was one of the few occasions he felt like he was amongst an equal. In a strange way, Yoda might have been the closest thing to a real friend Sideous would have had throughout his entire life.

    I believe that Palpatine genuinely respected Yoda for his abilities as a Jedi. Especially in comparison to him being able to take down four Jedi at a time before ever using his force lightning, Palpatine knew that Yoda was likely the only member of the Jedi order that could have a chance to defeat him. Outside of maybe Anakin and Obi-Wan.

    • @JadusMoltriel
      @JadusMoltriel Месяц назад +7

      Obi Wan wasn't remotely strong enough to be a threat to Sidious. Obi Wan's best ability against Palpatine was like Gandalf's role in Middle-Earth: small good deeds, guiding other heroes, keeping the Light shining, etc.
      Anakin had the POTENTIAL to surpass Sidious, but was nowhere near it at the time of Episode 3. Hence why he was the APPRENTICE, and after losing that potential on Mustafar, he remained the Apprentice forever. It would have been many years of training in either the Light or the Dark before Anakin could surpass Sidious. And this isn't even peak Sidious. Palpatine reached FAR greater power years later.
      In the novel, Vader's thoughts are shown that he wanted to betray Sidious after facing Obi Wan, BUT... Sidious KNEW this, and planned to use Vader's attempt as a lesson in how much stronger Sidious really was at the time. Then Vader lost to Obi Wan, and the plan he had to attack Sidious went out the window like Windu. Lol.
      Yoda was the only Jedi who could truly hold his own in a duel with Sidious, but he wasn't strong enough to defeat Sidious. At all.
      Still, mad respect to Yoda for the battle he gave, despite being knocked out in first 5 seconds by Sidious' lightning. Only reason Sidious didn't take the opportunity to end him, and rather used the Force to more quickly awaken Yoda, was his desire to embarrass Yoda. Remember, Sidious KOed Yoda in the first seconds. That says something right there.

    In WWII my grandfather was a fighter pilot in the 352nd Fighter Group squadron. He flew the P-51 Mustang. He told me that in some enemy squadrons they had a mutual respect for eachother as pilots. On both sides the pilots would rather disable your plane just enough to get back to base. There was also an unwritten rule, although unfortunately not all the time respected by both sides. If a pilot bails out of his plane. The enemy would not pursue the pilot with the parachute and straight out assassinate and unarmed, helpless defenseless pilot.
    Just like Rommel the Desert Fox. US Army tank commanders to this very day have such a massive amount of respect for him. That they have a picture of Rommel in their tank for good luck.

    You don't have to like someone to respect them;
    You can still be enemies and not hate one another;
    You can still agree with your nemesis;
    Jus cuz you share differing points of view does not mean you cannot find common ground!

    Sidious is stuck pretending to be just a politician for years, he finally reveals he's sith and kills 4 jedi. Then has a huge battle with yoda wrecking the senate.
    The rest of his time was just sitting in meetings organizing the empire. Probably didnt get to throw a senate booth at anyone ever again.

    Had Yoda and Obi-Wan fought together instead of separately... They most certainly would have prevailed. I mean I know the decision to fight separately, had to happen for events to unfold in the manner they did. However as wise as Yoda was, it most certainly was unwise to split up. From my own certain point of view that is.

    The story about Good & the Dark is about change. The balance that the Grey Zone felt this balance was out of whack and gave the Sith the strength to restore it. But took it away because the balance tilted to far toward the Sith and balance needed to be restored. Always the struggle, without change, growth will be stagnation. !!!

    I guess we somehow should’ve seen that coming when he said “my little green *friend* ”

    Even if his time as chancellor was a disguise, i do genuinely feel like he respected yoda and what he could do.

    Yoda accepted his Dark Side .... that's why he was at Peace .... that's why he was so Powerful.
    The Emperor couldn't understand Yoda's Power because he didn't contain his Dark Side ... but let it consume him. So he had Power but of a more Shallow variety.

    It is ironic, when you consider your greatest rival in life, whom caused you more pain than anyone, it’s not them you hate, but people who never dared to go the full mile. This is because you learn to respect those that stand on their own two feet as they get older.
