Hello there!
Collection of all the promotional material I managed to find for the third and last installment of George Lucas' highly divisive Star Wars prequel trilogy, and personally speaking, my second favorite Star Wars film after the original. I didn't have any attachments to Phantom Menace nor Attack Of The Clones while growing up, because I don't recall anything about ever seeing them or even hearing about them back then.
But Revenge Of The Sith was a different story. I first remember seeing this billboard outside my middle school of this huge black metal man surrounded by fire and my interest in whatever this was advertising was peaked. I never managed to watch it in theaters, but my dad did end up buying me the DVD later on and I fell in love with this movie (even had a General Grevious toy at one point and everything). Which is funny looking back considering my thoughts on the previous two movies were much more critical by comparison since I was never attached to them. I'll admit I might be looking at Revenge Of The Sith through rose-tinted glasses a bit, but I think even among the people who despise the prequels, it is considered the better movie of the three. There are definitely a lot of flaws with it, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying it nonetheless. It was my introduction to the world of Star Wars and I'll always be grateful for that.
That being said, and SPOILERS for everyone who hasn't managed to see the Ahsoka show yet, glad to see Hayden Christensen back in Star Wars media (Kenobi counting as well). Always felt he was an underrated actor, but someone who also needed strong guidance, direction and writing to get a great performance out of him, which I think is where George Lucas failed him a little in that regard.

RIP James earl Jones 😢
I have to admit, Revenge of the Sith was one of the best Star Wars movies of all. I love music, the visual effects, and even performances.
27:44 Taken on Home Alone 3 VHS (1998)
So do I.
Thank you so much for posting this!! I have been following the trailers and TV spots for the original and prequel trilogies for over 20 years and I have never seen the TV spot that starts at 18:22. Has anyone else?
That was one of the few I found on Vimeo. Not sure if it's already been posted on RUclips or not though.
Revenge of the sith is a phenomenal film and does a fantastic job not only showing anakin turn to the dark side but also the consequences for him and everybody this and rouge one are two of my favorite star wars films outside the og trilogy.
This was the very first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters. I remember seeing the trailers from The Incredibles and Robots and I was ecstatic. And I'm gonna come clear when I say this, this is my all time favorite Star Wars movie. And it blows the other two prequels out of the water. Now there are some clunky lines (You're so beautiful), unconvincing line delivery (YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME!!!!), and a few unintentional laughs (Don't make me kill you.). But this film has awesome action sequences, improved visual effects, top notch music by John Williams, great themes, and some really great writing actually. Look at the Darth Plagueis scene. And I really don't understand how people say it's on par with the other prequels, because I think this movie is better than Episodes I & II. But had Lucas got help with the writing after Episode II, and been on par with the Original Trilogy, it might have been one of the greatest films of all time. But that doesn't stop me from loving this film as it is still remains my favorite Star Wars movie and one of my favorite movies of all time.
My favorite Star Wars movie to this day
Me too.
ROTS is as good as ROTJ. Nothing more. Empire and New Hope still are better.
The promos was the best, on that time we don't have youtube to watch the trailers.
I remember watching it in theaters with my friends and my brother it brings back memories thank you so much and may the force be with you 👍🏻😎
Likewise, my friend!
Revenge of the Sith was my very first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters when I was 6 years old. Good memories!
So is my youngest brother. Especially when, I was 8 years old.
That's awesome. What movies did you see in the theater back in 2005 besides revenge of the sith?
@@isaiahyinko7182 Robots, Madagascar, Sharkboy & Lavagirl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Valiant, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Chicken Little, and Hoodwinked
@@EthanAnaniaNice.
@@EthanAnaniaDo you like batman? Did you watch batman begins on DVD back in 2005?
The marketing for this movie is what introduced me to Star Wars.
ROTS is the only SW film that I’m fine with being toe to toe with ESB as the GOATs of the GOATs
during the original Theatrical run of blue sky studios robots, there were sneak peeks for both this movie and ice age 2.
0:02 This is on the Star Wars Trilogy Bonus Material DVD in 2004
The film where we also see Emperor Palatine fight with a Lightsaber for the first time
Here it is. The final Star Wars prequel of the trilogy. And to be honest, it is technically the best one, but only by default. Unlike the first two prequels, this one actually tries to be better and they do show that with Anakin fighting Obi-Wan and Order 66, but the film is still pretty shaky with some not so good dialogue and the reveal that Chancellor Palpatine is the evil Sith Lord emperor even though we all knew it was coming. So, this is the best Star Wars prequel, but not the best Star Wars movie. And it is also a great movie to make the Star Wars saga complete. (Until Disney brought it back 10 years later)
Ah yes, Revenge of the Sith is the best Lucasfilm movie since 1980's The Empire Strikes Back and I Love Revenge of the Sith so much. I never agree more with A.O. Scott of The New York Times that Revenge of the Sith was one of the absolute best Star Wars films ever made along with Star Wars 1977 and The Empire Strikes Back, it was the film that brought my love for Star Wars back, and I was always left disappointed by The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Revenge of the Sith had stellar action sequences, the lightsaber fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar was awesome, and the acting from Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and Ian McDiarmid were all great. I always loved Frank Oz as Yoda, Samuel L. Jackson was very good as Mace Windu, and the John Williams music score was absolutely brilliant.
This is the first Star Wars movie I’ve seen in the theaters, when I was 8 years old. But, this is the first PG-13 in history.
10:46-10:50 put this in 1.75x
