My understanding of this story...
Story is happening in 1983.... It's an arranged marriage. Boy is not interested in marriage but after seeing her he started loving her. So marriage happened and they came out for a walk for relaxation they shared lot of things. Both belongs to brahmin community but the boy is against rituals and believe no god campaign. He gifted a ring to her as a symbol of love and shared their first kiss. Both were good swimmers but she has no interest to swim that time when he ask for it. So he went into river and swim shore to shore. He shared victories of waving his hand in mid of river. When swimmer's swims prolong they will suffer muscle cramps he also suffers same and sank and she also went for rescue and died failing in that. Neither his self confidence saved him neither her god's hope saved them. But their eternal love is saved(ring on lotus leaf). This my understanding someone may have better perspective too

Hero's Aatma comes to his wife home and took her to a walk as shown in this short film... After hero's Aatma and his wife come home back, heroine father crying and tell her that, her husband died in the way of return to home... She in shock and look back, but hero is not there...

Lot's of time I controlled my emotions with my intelligence and logic but after watching this short film some kind of emotion occupied me completely. It's taken 15min to become normal.
After 15min I said to my self it's just a short film, don't take it emotionally.
I spend one hour on this short film in my life. I don't know how much money a man can effort to buying one hour time? ............ This short film deserves that value.
Screenplay, Cinematography, Music everything was good. The actors performed well and the story also good. Unexpected climax.
