Bob and Brad, I just wanted to share success with you. I was told I have degenerative disk disease and would suffer from flair up’s of extreme pain the rest of my life. I started watching your videos about 7 years ago, at that time and practicing movements that stretched my lower back and provided movements. It was extremely uncomfortable at first but over time it became routine and easier and less painful. After doing this for 8-9 months I started lifting weights concentrating on my core and back. I was 300 lbs at the time and couldn’t bench 135 lbs. super out of shape. I’m happy to report with your videos helping me get stated and building a foundation for my body I’m now 290lbs(was 240 at one point) bench 315lbs, deadlift 455 and squat 405. Best of all I’ve not had back pain in years!
The last few Saturday mornings, having played football (soccer) on Friday night, have had me hobbling with PF in my right foot. I knew what it was, even though I’ve never suffered with it before. Having watched this excellent video, I now know, what has caused it. My right calf was tight on both Friday nights. I was in agony when I hit out of bed. I stood on tip toes and that relieved it quite a bit. However, now I know exactly what to do if it comes back and how to prevent it. (Both nights I’ve not had time to warm up because the game is 26 miles away and I run it. I have to organise the teams and take the subs so if I’m late getting there I can’t warm up properly. ) Thanks for the great video and info…PS Mike looks like my second eldest son!
Stretch before leaving work on a bathroom break. Use the stairs for calf stretches and a small run on a field before you see people. I was a coach and I know your pain, literally
@@sheilamarini1113 Thanks, I do normally stretch for 30 minutes on arrival and I do use the stairs for the calf and tibialis stretch. It's just the distance, 26 miles, and the time is peak traffic time on a Friday night. Sometimes they conspire to put a squeeze on my pre-game stretching. I used to coach a long time ago. In fact, one of the players who I play with was in my youth team, 20 years ago! How time flies! It's nice to see that I had an impact on him since he's aways regaling the other players with funny stories, wisdom and how great that team was. He still uses the Karate top to bottom stretching that I taught him. Football stretching, especially in the UK was light years behind Japan Karate Association training. Anyway, thanks for replying......age is a factor, we always think we can do at 60, what we could do at 40.....or at least I do!
I’m wrapping up a series of 10 laser treatments for my plantar fasciitis, $550 down the drain as far as I can tell, I’ve had no improvement. Tomorrow is my 9th treatment, perhaps the last two will be a breakthrough, but I think your massage technique will be the next thing I try. (I’ve been trying to fix this for 8 months now, it’s been frustrating)
~~~ One of the causes of overstressed lower limbs is excessive foot pronation. This, in itself, is known to result from a misaligned pelvis. Thus, pelvic issues are also implicated in plantar fasciitis.
You can use it as much as you want as long as you're using it on different body parts. We don't recommend using it much more than 20 minutes on the same spot a couple times a day. But the massage gun itself can be used all day as long as you change places!
Thanks for the info but my question is what type of insoles are best with people with flat feet it seams that whenever I use the planter insoles they tend to make it worse?
I don’t know, i used mini theragun once and it i felt more pain after, so be warned. I found rolling foot on something and normal massage works best for me
I have worn orthotics for years, and stretched my feet and calves. My symptoms are I have itchy heels. Do I need to change my orthotics or the way I am stretching?
Yes you do! Our massage guns are the best and they come with a one year warranty. If you fill out the warranty & registration page within a month of purchase, you will get 2 years for warranty!
I’m 65 and have been very blessed to have good health, however this year has just been horrible for me. I’m now a caregiver for my husband, I’ve been diagnosed with arthritis in my hips and knees, although I have not been diagnosed, my feet hurt so bad J can barely walk towards the end of the evening. My heels feel like they’re being poked with a hit poker. I love that small massage gun. Which one is the small one?
I owe a lot of my success to your videos. Thank you
Thanks for the tips guys! Really helpful! ❤
I found a multitool with the sanding attachment placed on a towel a good one, the oscillation seems just the job!
I remember when my pain was primarily in the morning. 😔 I'm past that now. It's nonstop now. I can't wait until this is healed
@@BobandBrad hi, how can you fix a misaligned pelvis?
How many times a day can you use massage gun...........great info
I developed a fibroma (lump) after using the massage gun on the bottom of my foot. The massage felt good but later noticed permanent lumps developed.
I have plantar fasciitis and I think it’s affecting my knee now . I’m gonna try your tips and see if it helps . Thanks
You are very welcome!
Thank you...Thanks a lot.
You are most welcome
I've found that if I squeeze the sides of the heel, I can comfortably massage the painful spot.
How do you know the difference between this and tarsal tunnel??
Would the Bob and Brad foot massager work for this as well?
More specific videos about gun please.
Over 60 yrs experience! 🙏🥳
