This is a slight variation of what my older brother used to say to me many times as I was growing up. Since his passing in January this year I have been lost but since hearing these lyrics I know he is still looking out for me. Angelina you have no idea (or maybe you do) how much this means to me. I have been listening to music of all genres for the best part of 60 years and can truly say with all my heart there has never been a piece of music that has touched me as much as this one I’m actually weeping as I compose this. Thank you Angelina.

I would have had said that if she had had full contol ...obviously it's not the case.The way her voice is lost in the background ,music in front over doing it....not on her level.This is a production made for radio diffusion,pleasing mass people ..business,business..(not from her part of course..).This is not her doing...but the doing of those studio engineers .My goodness she is so much more than this insignificants "musical"arrangemants.But it's not her doing I am sure ..What a regret those lyrics being so beautiful...her voice mutilated by those inappropriates sounds effect,s ..echos..etc.....Bet she knows it and that she is not that happy with the end product (product!). It’s just a beautiful song and a very moving performance. Angelina always lives the lyrics of whatever she’s singing, but you can tell on this one that it’s special. It’s her personal expression of loss, but relatable to everyone.
Angelina lets her voice ride the crests and dips like a wave, but what makes her singing so different and special is that you can’t predict whether that wave will smooth out or keep growing. She gives you those goosebump vocal payoffs where you don’t expect them. And in this song, her magic voice is even more flexible and compelling. Wow. She was already my favorite singer of all time-and she keeps getter better.

Thank you, Adam, for yet another spectacular Angelina reaction. Wasn't that just stunning? When “Million Miles” came out on November 6th, I, like I’m sure many people , listened to it over and over, and was in awe of the power in the music, lyrics and artwork. The more I listened and watched, the more I wanted to find a way to make others aware of this masterpiece. I live in a large U. S. midwestern city that has four major hospital groups, 150 funeral homes and 25 hospice organizations. I drafted a cover letter and an information sheet about Angelina, the complete lyrics and how “Million Miles” can be viewed on RUclips and the various ways to purchase it. I mailed the letters to all of them and asked that they copy the information sheet to give to families grieving the loss of loved ones so they can listen to the song and hopefully find some comfort and peace from it. I encourage everyone to find creative ways to get “Million Miles” into the hands, ears and hearts of as many people as possible.
Adam, please consider doing one thing for me and especially for yourself. You played Angelina singing Summertime in front of an orchestra and it was wonderful. But you have never played Summertime from Norway's Got Talent. That performance by Angelina not only won her the title of NGT but possessed perhaps the greatest note in Angelina's career! What!?!? Yes, I say no more. All of us will be so happy for you to share that moment with us.

I know it's strange to say about a song that is about loss, but it's catchy. It has nice variety and nice repetition. And now and then I am reminded just how much horsepower this girl has.

I have to agree with both of you. The first time I heard the song I was just worried that it would not live up to our high standards, and I was relieved. The second time, I started to bring the lyrics in tune with the melody, after the 5th time I started to become addicted - without really understanding why.... maybe the end with the very high notes wants you to have more, and the sudden end contributes to that.

I've listened to it more than 50 times now, and I find myself singing the words in my head---so beautiful and so touching. This is the fourth song that Angelina has written and performed, and I can see the progression in her poetic depth and acuity. And her voice is simply Magnificent! I have to remind myself that she is only 14 years old. She recently communicated with members of her patreon, and I can tell everyone that she is well and happy, and truly enjoying the entire process of producing all the songs on her new album. I love this song, the words, the melody, her very heartfelt voice and the lovely simplicity of her grandmother’s pictures with it, even the old movie effects seemed so right. It is a treasure. I keep hearing the words and melody in my head and on line changes: You’re a million miles away yet you’re deep in my heart!
You asked if there was anyone else to review. I say there is one person who is so like Angelina in spirit and circumstances, and I want them to meet! Alma Deutscher is also dedicated to bringing more beauty and love into the world through her music. She also has a deep heart connection to music since she was tiny that makes people say she is a reincarnation of the greats of the past. Both have extremely supportive international families who have taken care to hold their children back from stardom through their tender years so they could have somewhat normal childhoods, while still supporting their child’s passion for their music.

Alma Deutscher (pronounced Doy-churr) is an extraordinary pianist, Violinist and composer of beautiful classical music. She has been lent a Stradivarius if that tells you anything! She hears music in her mind all the time and says people are a little bit confused when they believe classical should reflect the ugliness of the world. If the world is so ugly, why add to it is her sentiment. Her music is glorious, fun, and truly beautiful as Angelina‘s voice and singing and songs are truly beautiful.

I had read that while Angelina was recording this beautiful song, she had tears flowing. Her purity of tone and person really is unique in our time when most teenagers want to dress like sexy looking adults and make crazy dance moves. Angelina is so uplifting in her musical purity.
I do want to mention that the accompanying animation is lovely and that Angelina and her grandmother collaborated in the drawing.

You mentioned your reaction to Shield coming up--there's a line in Shield that Angelina wrote that reminds me of a line in Million Miles. In Shield she says, "Forgive me for all that I am," and in Million Miles she says, "I'll never regret what I do." It seems to me that in both of these lines Angelina is reflecting on her life as an artist, and that she is keenly aware of the commitment and the sacrifice that life entails, for both herself and for her family. You mentioned also how you never know where she's going to take a note, and one of the aspects of Angelina's creativity that I've come to understand and appreciate over the many thousands of times now that I've listened to her is that she crafts every single note, and she has what seems like an almost innate artistic sensibility that shines through in every performance. I love this song more and more every time I hear it, I lost my father when I was 13 and at first I did not feel sad it was almost like it was not real and then a couple days later it hit me like a ton of bricks, and recently my mom passed and this song brought those feelings back to the surface and to me that is what separates her from the rest of artists young or old is her ability to draw every intended emotion and message a song was meant to relay.

She's amazing at conveying emotion. This song very much connects me to when my mother died. I was holding her hand as she went, so the "now he's not here to hold my hand" lyric really grabs me.

This song is an universal message, it is this characteristic which touches us all.
I think that this song worthy of being compared to The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
The presentation of Saint-Exupéry's work on Wikipedia says:
The story follows a young prince who visits various planets in space, including Earth, and addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss. Despite its style as a children's book, The Little Prince makes observations about life and human nature.
This song "Million Miles fly to the Moon of the little Princess" also meets this definition (sorry for the simple modification of the title and a reference to a classic of Angelina).
Upon encountering the narrator, the little prince asks him to draw a sheep. After three failed attempts at drawing a sheep, the frustrated narrator simply draws a box, claiming that the sheep the prince wants is inside the box. Again, to the narrator's surprise, the prince exclaims that this was exactly the drawing he wanted.

I think the one thing that we’re all forgetting is that this is a child singing a child making these words come to life she’s 14 she has the wisdom and the mind of a 90-year-old it’s like she’s been through 100 lifetimes and allows you to feel her pain of everything she’s seen and done she’s 14 we all seem to be losing sight of that fact she’s so insightful. As a 71-year-old grandmother and a mother it pains me I have a 14-year-old granddaughter who was born the same time she was and it hurts me that a 14-year-old should feel such pain so early on a pain that really most people can’t even describe my granddaughter I hope you never have to feel that pain of loss of being alone fighting for herself with no back up I hope that she will always remember that there’s always someone there for her and I hope Angelina knows that she’s not alone that she truly is never alone she has an enormous family base

Every single time I hear this song (multiple times a day since its release) I cry along with Angelina, and really feel her love for the whole world, and I know that I'm never alone. What a wonderful human spiritual gift she has. Her perfect pitch is often even finer than the instruments. Today is the 1st anniversary of my dear mother's passing from breast cancer at only 69 years 😢 and your reaction Adam, was very sensitive and really perceptive of the way Angelina conveys her connection to the world, especially about a lost loved one ❤ thank you 🙏🏼💕 Subscribed

Thanks Adam, great reaction again! After her performance on AGT-C there was word she was working on an album... then covid-19. Turns out Grammy Award winning Stargate, the Norweigen production team, was already working with her and shared her work with someone at Republic. I think we'll get an album for Christmas. In this year of so much death and loss of "normal" this song is a balm. Crying releases what needs to be released, and then she gives us courage as well! I hope this song really does get the world wide attention she aspires to and we need.

Hey Adam I just saw a video of her performing that song live in the studio and then there was an interview that went along with it and during that interview she said the tears were running down her face when she recorded it so powerful I love your reactions by the way
