In Angelina’s All I Ask, I hear a woman’s cries of utter pain and hopelessness and Angelina delivers them with those intense runs and vibratos, not to mention her facial expressions the cameras capture. However, the last verse of Adele’s turns the song into “Let this be our lesson in love . . . be the way we remember us.” To the extent I know anything about Angelina, there is no way she sings her heart out for a mere “lesson in love . . . ” I think that is why she takes out Adele’s last verse and chorus; All I Ask becomes truly Angelina’s song.

It looks, in fact, like she had a block of time scheduled and prepaid in a superb recording studio (to record 7th Heaven?) and finished in two takes. She declares the track done, and asks the engineering staff and pianist "could we just do another track? No props needed, I'll just sit on the front of the stage, give me one camera and spotlight. One take. Please?" No corporate policy against it, done. The Republic managers hear the result, take it to an executive decision-maker meeting, ask to release it. Execs stunned, agree to RUclips it.

This should have been a worldwide releas.
This girl is 15 years old and already we're using the phrase "classic Angelina Jordan"! Here is a person still not old enough (in the US) to drive and already she's laid down a whole body of amazing performances upon which we reflect. I am smiling broadly as I type this! She has really found an audience and, wow, are we glad to be that audience!
In Angelina’s All I Ask, I hear a woman’s cries of utter pain and hopelessness and Angelina delivers them with those intense runs and vibratos, not to mention her facial expressions the cameras capture. However, the last verse of Adele’s turns the song into “Let this be our lesson in love . . . be the way we remember us.” To the extent I know anything about Angelina, there is no way she sings her heart out for a mere “lesson in love . . . ” I think that is why she takes out Adele’s last verse and chorus; All I Ask becomes truly Angelina’s song.

Another excellent reaction to my favorite singer. A great cover that I wasn’t expecting. I was afraid her contract with Republic Records was going to restrict her from doing more covers.
The harmonics effect she creates, when in full display I bet will blow our minds! You her those special sound, I mean the multiple trade mark sounds of Angelina Jordan, and she matures as a total professional, and something new, she puts out masterpiece single's every month. You can't put the bar higher. Just up to 10, she already performed several "What just happened" performances, and she can bring people too tears. With all that, I'm waiting patiently for the next one! Patiently.

How is it even possible that this 15 year old young lady can make most mainstream singers these days sound ordinary compared to her extraordinary singing talent. My brain just cannot process the absolute beauty of Angelina's vocals...have no words anymore. She is pure Class.

I'm imagining the release process for this track. Probably not planned by Republic decision-makers in advance. It looks, in fact, like she had a block of time scheduled and prepaid in a superb recording studio (to record 7th Heaven?) and finished in two takes. She declares the track done, and asks the engineering staff and pianist "could we just do another track? No props needed, I'll just sit on the front of the stage, give me one camera and spotlight. One take. Please?" No corporate policy against it, done.
The Republic managers hear the result, take it to an executive decision-maker meeting, ask to release it. Execs stunned, agree to RUclips it.

I've been saying this a lot about Angelina lately, but I think it sums up the special element she brings to her performances. I don't like to compare singers; however, I listened to both Angelina's and Adele's studio versions side-by-side and Angelina's talent is on par with Adele. Both are extremely gifted.
