I agree about Chris Bangles’s designs. The more years go by the less disgusted I am about the way his cars look. I actually really like these 6-series cars. Even the entry level car here is quite quick so if you want to take a chance on the car holding itself together and not getting you an estimate of $9,000 to fix suspension and engine problems, go for it because it’s a great GT car that I think most people would enjoy 😉

I guessed at 5-8000 on the SRT 300. The front-end damage and lack of power steering didn't help it. Also its around 16 years old even with lower miles for that age. I had a 2005 300C. My only complaints with it were the interior was cheap in areas and the Continental tires sucked bad. Tires were expensive to replace on it. The other thing was everyone thought I had more money than I did. It was cool Vanilla with the wire basket grill. Really sharp looking car. It had the pardon me do you have any grey poupon vibe to it! Lol
For that time period it moved real well compared to what else was out there. It hung with C-5 Corvettes all day long. When you weren't on it had crazy good fuel mileage cruising the highway.

A leap forward from the Cavalier. Young people bought them and beat the snot out of them. They were pretty good cars though. GM doesn't offer anything close now. SRT is a bit rough, although there is a real following for these cars - lot of go for bargain price. Pity about the steering, which might well be an expensive fix. $5250 is about right (and more than I - a dealer for 30+ years would have paid), as this thing will suck up some bucks before you can sell it, and it's NOT premium merchandise.
Cobalt might have been kind of a neat little car, and almost certainly better for not having the blower, as it's less likely to have been thrashed. But condition is everything, and you'd have to spend some time on this thing and then accept a lower price. Also, cars like this are slow to sell, even if you carry your own paper. $2800 was too high; I'd have said $2k MAX.
The Bimmer can cost a fortune to run and fix, and had some REAL issues (try fixing a crank position sensor). Rough high-end German cars can bury you in VERY short order, and become lot vultures that just never go away. How much are you willing to LOSE on this?? BUT, it's worth $1500 for parts, and that's about ALL it's good for!

You guys do a good job with your cars. I like the Srt 8.
What about the Monte Carlo? Have you done that one yet? I have 00Monte
SS. I could tell you it screams at top end and has some ignition timing booster above 90 mph it flys hard. But it isn't built for that, It can't handle the power of that 3800 v6 at all. And the braking is hardly and barely. So please let me know anything similar. You guys are excellent. I would try the Impala next.
