Shane Told is easily the cleanest at going back and forth with screaming and singing. Him along with this whole band have been one of the only constantly amazing bands out there.

He's soooo good, but I just came here from an underoath video and I'd definitely say Spencer from Underoath is better at it, holy heck silverstein are great though
Never mind what I just said, just watched Vices and Shane is at least as good
If there was any argument that someone was better than Shane, Spencer would be it for sure. Anthony Green as well.

Discovering the Waterfront was one of the defining albums of my formative years. The way they took a style of music and added so much originality to it blew me off my feet at the time. As a drummer Paul showed me that you could play for a song but also stand out at the same time, he is criminally underrated.
Im a drummer as well and Paul is super underrated did thing people werent thinking of doing for years in this style of music. Does enough to be amazing with out overdoing it n never does what would be obvious for the song.
Dude Paul is the man. Discovering the water front album was some of his best work. One I love is smile in your sleep

dtw literally saved my life, as corny and cliche as that may sound. when I discovered silverstein and furthermore discovering the waterfront, I was in a really bad place. lonely, depressed, angry with the world. this album took me into its arms and helped lift me back up from the depths I had been drowning in.
sadly I never got to see silverstein play live but I did meet them at a signing they did in rochester, ny where I grew up. I still have the poster they signed and I still listen to this album regularly.

I've been a Silverstein fan forever and I just came across this performance. Amazing
5 years ago I was in that crowd. 5 years later I’m still reliving that night. Silverstein never ceases to put on a killer show. When I saw them at warped tour in the early 2000s I was instantly hooked.

The perfect band as a cohesive. Multi styled, heavy, slow, melodic and hard. Every musician plays an equal part. After all these years i still cant believe how Shane is able to describe heart ache in so many poetic ways, true poetry that doesnt feel repeated, like it's always a new experience. I hope he finds true love and his angst is overcome and can rest

I can imagine seeing Silverstein live would have been fantastic unfortunately senses fail is a mere shell of their former selves so that part of the concert for me would have been a major let down

lots of fucking Vocal callis rehab that's for sure. to keep that range and still scream is HIGHLY difficult. especially after over 15 years.
If you listen to the records through the years, he changed his scream a few times. After the first album and they gained popularity he learned how to scream healthier lol
nostalgic... very nostalgic
seen them a few times now and i gotta say, this tour they were just firing on all cylinders. I remember my buddies and i had VIP seating and our table was set up, idk 20-25ft from the stage, the entire building gave them a 5 min standing ovation at the end of the almost 3 HOUR SET they played, just absolutely killed it.
That brought me tears damn...

One of the most intense live band I've seen.
Shane Told is having a hard time doing clean vocals while screaming in their song Massachusetts...but he still rocks,and the good thing about the bands was they still manage to perform consistently while doing the song clean and distorted.
