god my east coast brain can't even comprehend snow that looks that beat up but is also still THAT skiable. I need to move out west before i get to old to do shit like this
N chute steeep. Hard to make out the top 1/3 convexity in viddy. So much fun in hat and glasses in spring when buffed. Nice controlled slarvin' young man.
Since this is public forum will give a disclaimer before I answer. DIN setting should be dependent on your weight, age, height, and ability. I am 180, 39 years old, 5'11". And picked skier type III+. The calculator spit out 9.5. Ive been riding at that setting all season with no pre release problems.
@@henryzakowski5385there was zero attack on the slope... the entire time was just side slipping, I'm not being a jackass but amateurs shouldn't hit features like this.
Thanks for watching. @L3athaface and appreciate the support @henryzakowski5385, I'm a bit fan! I don't normally respond to arm chair haters. But a few additions to this discussion for the benefit of other viewers. Side slipping is a perfectly viable technique for reducing risk and skiing in your comfort zone. It's used by skiers of all levels. "Pros" sometimes take more risk to get the perfect shot or ski it in a style that they are trying to accomplish, for example straight line the entire run for no reason, but a crash could be fatal. So the argument that slid slipping is more dangerous is very flawed. Conditions and exposure should change how you ski. Ski mountaineering for example is usually very conservative. It's perfectly ok and super smart to ski runs or features progressively. Meaning go explore the cliff, then take a chunk out of it, then hit it right on the nose, then do a cork 720. I made the decision to post my runs and features even if they aren't clean or no hesitation to be more realistic and accessible to the super majority of skiers that would go try this run. As a public channel I'm fine with feedback on my skiing, as long as it's respectful, I don't delete negative comments.
Yeah, I totally agree that some of the "hardest lines" aren't that fun to ski. Good snow or the perfect angle for carving is where the fun is. I realized this year that I'd been playing it safe and although I grew up skiing at Snowbird, I hadn't actually skied much of the mountain. So I made it a personal goal to ski more of the terrain and try to make it fun/do it in the best style possible.
this is way steeper in person lol, nice work
Thanks
Such a fun run, that was a nice send. Love the goalposts at the end too.
Thanks!
Impressive skiing! The other guy just sending it was wild! As a novice skier its super cool to see how adventurous it can be!
Yeah, he took a cool double line with some style directly down the fall line. Thanks for watching.
Nice skiing! Would love to ski it next year! Thanks for sharing the run!🎉🎉🎉
You should!
Love that run, nice skiing man! 👏🔥
Thanks! 👍

Thanks, can't wait to check it out in the spring. I'm hoping late in the day it gets soft and the drop gets progressively larger every week.
@@benoveson itll continue to fill well into April. Corn!
