Wasn’t feeling very inspired on this one. So I thought I’d just mess around with key groups since I haven’t used them much on the MPC. Found this sound and then the rest fell in pretty quickly. Sometimes when you aren’t “feeling it” you just have to dig around to find that spark to get you going.
@@herschoolcolors this one has some but mostly just odds and ends honestly lol. A lot of the more acoustic samples have been Jake Reed’s sample pack. And some stuff I’ve recorded. Also a good many from a pack called Hidden Scrolls. I actually think this beat is the first one I did use a good many stock drums in.
Oh ok interesting. I’ve been curious about the stock sounds on the One, but it’s helpful to know you’re mostly using other sample sources. I know you were using stock kits on the deluge a while back. In any case, you’ve got a keen ear for sample selection.
@@herschoolcolors there are some great kits on the One. But I don’t think most of them really suit my style a lot of times. But I’ll use them if I’m needing a specific sound a good bit. Great thing is about the MPC is the tagging and search functions. So if you need say a clap, you can just go through all the claps and find the one you like. I think that’s probably why I used a lot more stock kits on the Deluge for a while. It isn’t hard to make you’re own kits, but it is a little more tedious of a process.
Complimenti finalmente trovo qualcosa e qualcuno che utilizza suoni più reali con akai mpc... in rete ho ascoltato solo suoni di plastica elettronici insopportabili per le mie orecchie e mai un buon suono di un piano di una acustic drums che si avvicini al vero .. cerco suggerimenti a riguardo a queste macchine akai mpc per capire se sarà uno strumento adatto ad un chitarrista come me .. grazie per questo video
