I'm currently watching this video at Hotel Klaksvik. My wife wants to explore the islands through these tunnels. I'm an Englishman driving a left hand drive for the first time. I sometimes find myself not quite in the middle of the lane. I'm shitting myself at the prospect of driving through these tunnels. We hiked up the hillside today and we could see down to the tunnel entrance and so many cars drove up to it, did a u-turn and went back.
This is the best video of the one-way tunnels in the Faroes. It is daunting at first, but after a few passes (and one embarrassing failure), I mastered it.
I love the contrast. You had to stop several times in the first tunnel but you managed to get through the second tunnel without stopping at all. Pity you didnt discover the M Signs and their numbering system in the first tunnel!! LOL Please dont make this film go hi-speed please. I enjoyed seeing and hearing the whole entire trip through 2 tunnels. I do not think it was a waste of 8 minutes at all. Great video!! Thanks.
These tunnels look like fun. I can't wait to get there and drive through them. I wonder why it is custom to switch off the lights when using a turnout.
@@herbert42069 Hmmm... While I don't doubt your statement it makes we wonder what the difference is between a tunnel and driving at night. In both circumstances you meet oncoming traffic and you don't switch off your lights on a regular street at night. You blind others only when using high beam or if your lights are poorly calibrated.

That reaction though when you realise there was another tunnel ahead haha

Thrilling!

A courtesy as to not blind oncoming traffic

Wow!
I hate doing this when I am there 👀
I wouldn’t drive through for a million dollars. I’d literally die from panic. No way. No how!!!
Старий тунель і важко уявити як ним рухатись...Але іншого шляху нема...

a video of over 8 min long that could have done in one minute. The first minute and a bit is totally pointless (in my opinion)
