  • Kalsoy is one of the least populated islands of the Faroe Islands, and only reachable by ferry. The four villages on the island are connected by a 17km single lane road which passes through four mountains via tunnels up to 2.3km long. This drive from the south of the island to the north passes through each town and every tunnel, and gives a good sense of what driving in the Faroe Islands is like. The atmospheric rain, dramatic scalloped mountains, and sheep dotting the landscape, make this a must-see part of the Faroe Islands.

Hi folks! Great video :) I came across your video today. We are hoping to bring our car over to Kalsoy island on the ferry this month, but I see people online saying that there is a long wait to board with a car. Is that the case?
