Honestly, if Johnny had a problem with sweeping Daniel’s injured leg, I highly doubt that Johnny would be okay with fighting Daniel like Barnes did in the third movie. However, Terry is a much better manipulator, but I still believe Johnny is a better person.

Johnny clearly "let go of the bone" after Daniel beat him at All Valley, and he was the one who gave him the trophy. The only way he would have "wanted revenge" is if Kreese was still on his side.
If he did try go after Daniel after All Valley, Bobby would definitely call him out on it, for being "a sore loser". Jimmy and Tommy might have sided with Bobby as well.
