My hands are about 19.5 x 10.5 cm. Mouse Dimensions are: Width (73 mm) / Grip Width (62 mm) / Height (43 mm) / Weight (82g). Mouse sensor is an optical sensor (Razer Focus+) & Left/Right clicks use optical switches so no debounce delay. Some other notes I left out: --> Regarding the shape/compared with other ergo mice I've tried out, the DeathAdder V2 has a more exaggerated shape with less subtle curves than say a Zowie EC1 (especially on the back left side/towards the hump). For me it's one of the most comfortable shapes I've tried. --> The front flairing is comfortable for my fingers and it's notable that on the V2 they've slightly pulled in the front right side flair which is a change I like a lot personally/I used to find that flair would get in the way somewhat of my ring/pinky fingers so a nice improvement on the V2 in my view. --> I personally feel the back-left side of the mouse (towards the hump/where my thumb rests) is curved a bit too aggressively for my liking, but with larger hands than mine or depending on your grip style that may be a none issue.
one of the best reviews i watched for this mouse. best review commentary actually (shocking). flashy edits don't make a review itself good. you should include some more angles of you gripping the mouse(ring finger and pinky)
i think my mamba(2009) way back when, like the "first wireless premium gaming mouse" used to have a swappable side panel just like you described you want :)
I use the DA V2 too,but I understand why there is a sort of distaste toward it.It's not even distaste but a lack of interest and hype, and I understand why. The DA is on the market since 2006,the only new things are quality of life upgrade (feet, cable, weight) but nowadays most gamer know if they like or not the Deathadder so yeah many mouse reviewer just skip it because there is not much to say. It's a solid mouse, one of the best large ergo,it's in many top recommandation and was used by a lot of pro ,so yeah it's a safe choice. For ergo and just pure syle the dpi button should have been move under the mouse or maybe just have one and make it smaller.
That’s fascinating to know, thanks - it’s not something I’ve noticed personally in use, but if the data says it happens that’s definitely notable. 7% seems like quite a lot - makes me wonder if Razer is having some issues with quality control. It could be some early or defective units have sensor problems while others don’t, unsure. I know when I had a wireless Razer Naga Pro I had to return it as it was broken and the sensor would just skip out periodically.
@@tili_ yeah that could be as well - from what I’ve read online in review outlets most reviewers found the DA V2 sensor to be top notch at time of launch (at least as far as I recall), though it’s been sometime since I read about it. I’d have to look into how rtings goes about getting those results.

I agree with the last point, on the first day I couldn't grip it well, after that my claw grip got adjusted to the curve and it's perfect now

Thanks a lot mate! That’s a great idea for the grips, will keep that in mind next go around.

Thanks that’s great to know I’ve got some Googling to do then.

I hear you mate, well put. I definitely agree with your suggestion there.
rtings found a 7% DPI variation in DA V2, Pro and X Hyperspeed. claiming it's inaccurate

@@BlindBison or rtings test for “CPI variation” could be bullshit
