Recently I have been having a lot of issues with my key getting stuck in my door knob (door lock), and the other week my key was completely stuck in my door knob (door lock) with no way of getting the key unstuck from the door knob (door lock).
After searching around on the internet, I came across a door lock fix dry lube for about $3 and decided to give it a try. I was able to get the key unstuck from the door knob (door lock) and was able to fix the door knob (door lock) by applying the door knob (door lock) lube into the key hole and the door knob (door lock) is 100% fixed and I did not have to pay a locksmith to repair my door knob (door lock).
Before hiring a locksmith, I would highly recommend this method to attempt to fix your door knob (door lock) to stop your key from getting STUCK!

How to open/shut door/lock when sunshine on outside stops it working?

It’s not so much that it’s stuck. I mean yeah it gets stuck but only in the locked position. When I unlock it I can take the key out easily enough. But when I go somewhere and I choose to lock my storm door then the key won’t come out. So I don’t believe it has to do with lubing of any kind but I just thought maybe there was some other reason it was doing that.

Turns out it wasn’t stuck I just didn’t turn the key all the way🫣🫣
