    Your video series for the 26 has helped me a great deal. Thanks!
    Mine seems to be the exact same model as yours with the same digital control and EPS. Everything seems to be installed correctly, but the EPS tap functions are not working at all. Are there parameters in the control that turn it off and on? I'd love to find a manual that explains those P settings.

    Hell yeah bro. Would have been cool if the bar didn't cross thread after three rotations but I just grabbed some channies and drove it home!

    I purchased a class 26 without EPS , does the EPS require a different motor and hand wheel, in the video you just installed the sensor on the hand wheel.

      To upgrade to the EPS system, you are correct that you will need to get the different motor. Same hand wheel though, just a bit of different hardware will be provided.

    I bought the eps to add to my existing class 26. It didn’t come with lines to line up the eps like you have in the video. Any idea how to calibrate it without those?

      Hey Alexandra, that topic is an entire separate video topic that I will cover. If you can please give Leather Machine Co a call and they will walk you through it over the phone. You’re in good hands I promise.

    When you added the EPS sensor, did you change the motor and the power box, My machine does not have a red line on sensor or hand wheel.

      Lester, This Cobra Class 26 is the standard EPS build model and comes with the EPS motor and machine markings. If you purchased a standard Class 26 then it will NOT have those things and you can upgrade your machine to an EPS if you want.

    I honestly still don't get it. What does it do? What is the different actions of the two pedals without it?

      It gives you control to have the needle in the all up, or all down positions. These are functional positions when taking stitches, inserting material, or ensuring the hook is disengaged and the work can be pulled free, etc... It is a nice to have, and will increase productivity for someone who sews all day. Not a big deal if you are low production. In my case I got the machine largely to make stuff for myself, and months go by when I am not using it. So the increase in productivity is not real for me. That said, I ordered it, and a thread melter, and neither was shipped. So that might be another reason to discount it. One reason I bought this machine, which is great, was their reputation for service, which has not been my experience.

      Glad it helped! If you can get it then I would say you won’t regret the decision. It’s amazing.

    After I installed my eps I started getting black rubber dust from the belt. Is that something I did?

    • @vanplewco
      @vanplewco  Год назад +1

      Black rubber dust is normal after set up and usage. Once the belt has some usage the dust will be minimal or nonexistent

      Your videos helped me a lot with the set up of the machine.

      Awesome! I’m so glad to hear that. Enjoy your machine and embrace the mistakes and errors that you will encounter. They are learning moments.
