Based on your experience, what is the lightest and best ounce leather do you feel this machine works best on? I am not very familiar with leather sewing machines. All my work is by hand. Your videos have been extremely helpful. Thanks!!!

Thanks for watching. I wouldn’t run anything less than 8 ounces in this machine. Seems to really like 14 ounces. Hope this helps.

I liked your video, thanks for posting it.
Ummm . . . didn't you wind the thread around the lower tensioner 3 times? On the Al Bane video, it shows he goes around twice and a little, then pushes the thread through the guide from the left side. It's a little hard to see that the thread almost goes around the tensioner another time as he pulls it through the guide but he catches it and pulls the thread without going around the third time. If you are having trouble adjusting your tension - that it's too tight - that might be a problem.
This guy shows threading the second tensioner a little clearer

Or you could call Cobra and ask them.
    Best of luck to you

Thank you for the response. I suppose it depends how you count the first turn and the last turn. You could say 2.5 or 3. 🤷‍♂️. I tried to do exactly as the Al Bane video. Works for me no problem though. I’m sure this comment will be helpful for someone. Thank you again for posting. 👍

@@SofieldLeather yeah you're going going around 3 times in Al he doesn't let the 3 time go up under he's only threading it under so his is only 2. I had to watch both of you very carefully to even notice the difference. if you watch him his doesn't loop under that third time and yours does.

So I just got myself one of these class 4. Did your belt kinda shed I guess you’d call it when it was new? I’ve got like little belt dust around the machine.

Hmm I may need to call these fellers then lol. I was thinking it was breaking in the new belt but still didn’t seem right.

🤣🤣🤣 Ive tried pest control but they said they cant get rid of them because they're an endangered species. I dont believe them though because I hear them all the time. Especially at night.
