I've been looking for something just like this. I'm tired of looking at pictures of bags. Your review is good enough for me. Just ordered it.

I do love my Nac pak but that arsenal 15 has some much needed upgrades especially those front pockets and the back ventilation. I do like the hard case for goggles on the Nac Pak better but the Arsenal 15 is going in my cart today. 😎👍

It looks great, but at almost $300 in Canada price I'll stick with my Nac Pac.
I wouldn’t upgrade if you have a solid nac pac right now. But for someone looking for a new bag I think it’s a fantastic option
scramble pack and 3 liter water bladder is plenty for my little 60 mile rides. That bag i would use for camping or really long rides......Run Mousse and ditch the tire irons.....
All I run is mousse on my small bikes but stuff still happens. Others get in a bind and it’s worth having a full kit. Can’t think of how many times I’ve had to use my irons so I’m not ditching them. But they are aluminum so they don’t weight that much

You tried a vest like Ogio Flight or Fox? I carry a LOT of crap in my OGIO, I like that it carried weight on front & back to balance the weight
I’ve tried a couple of vets but don’t like the lack of airflow. I’ve had way too many bags over the years and the Nac Pac has been the best bag by far. I’m excited for this new version and know it’s going to be even better
Can it hold a 1 gallon Rotopax like the NacPac can?

There's some good organization and pouches with the new klim packs, but I found the Kriega Trail 18 (and they have a smaller version if you like a smaller bag) to be far superior. The harness is much more comfortable and the entire bag is just built better. The deal breaker for me though, is the Kriega has a large roll top waterproof compartment and a smaller waterproof pouch in the hydration chamber area. Maybe not as big of a deal for the riders in the southwest, but if you live in a part of the world where it rains, the Kriega is the way to go. I love Klim, and own a lot of their gear, but they missed the mark on this one.
I tried the kreiga bags (I have 2) and they didn’t work for me. I need front pockets for my stuff and some more space. I did like it as a race bag but love my Klim bags a bit more. Glad they are working for you 🤙
@@EverySingleSunday not to push the issue, but kriega sells attachable front pouches that you can add to your bag if that’s what you are in to.
What about Enduristan Hurricane 15/25? They're fully waterproof and has Kriega like harness system.
@@royarnab22 I own an enduristan tank bag and tail bag and roll top duffle. Love their stuff, just not the backpacks. They are waterproof and very durable, but for me they are OVER built. Very heavy and stiff. If you want a bag that will survive a crash at 100 mph, the enduristan is probably the only one that could, but i found the kriega to be more comfortable to wear and plenty durable for my needs. Love their stuff for on the bike storage though. Like the backpack, they are Extremely durable. I've crashed with mine several times offroad and they are barely scuffed and still completely waterproof.
@@Rourke-Slimer Thanks for the detailed reply mate. Yes the Hurricanes are heavy for sure. The best part about Klim is the organizer pockets. I think it's most thoughtfully designed. Kriega on the other hand looks and that harness. Enduristan you already explained well. I've a 4H tankbag and I'm loving it. But as you said not sure how comfortable it'll be as the material is very stiff. Cheers.

I just bought one but have not had a chance to try it yet because it’s winter. One thing I was shocked about is how heavy it is. It’s at least three times heavier than my previous. Nak pac.
I didn’t notice a difference in weight to be honest. I always run a ton of water, tools, and food in my bags so maybe once it was loaded up it felt similar. Did you get the same size and the one in the video or the larger version?
@@EverySingleSunday ya I bought the 15L and compared it side-by-side with my old nak pak. I’m gonna give it a try, but I wish It was a little bit lighter.. I assume it’s the plastic S that’s adding the weight , which I’m not even sure if necessary 🤷🏼♂️
@@heily-3806 i notice this pack breathes so much better on my back. Having the foam odd with the mesh allows the air to pass through so much better. The stiff back feels good but can be hard to get the water pack in when it’s set to 3L
I really like those bigger chest pockets but I dislike not having the hard case up top…
I never felt like I wanted the hard case up top. I don’t feel like it added much protection and really confined what I could use the pocket for.
I wore a backpack for many years but the last 3 years I've been wearing the Klim Arsenal Vest. How would you compare this backpack to a vest? Do you have a preference? Curious to know if you would choose backpack over vest and why. No wrong answer.
I’m not a fan of the vest. It blocks too much airflow to my body and just makes me few hot
If I had to carry more stuff I would consider wearing a vest again but for now it just sits collecting dust

Way too large. 12 liters is where I draw the line. USWE Ranger 9 is my goto. Running a USWE RAW 8 right now.
Too large for what, a race pack?
all my USWE packs don’t get used anymore cause I can’t fit all my stuff in them. They are just too small for a Jacket, spare gloves, tools, 3L of water, and some snacks, plus whatever other junk I grab that day to bring
@@EverySingleSunday Racing or gooning with friends. The main difference in our carry seems to be the jacket. I either start the day with one or go without. As for gloves, I use latex underneath if it's cold out. Hands get a bit clammy but they definitely stay warm. Love your content bro!
