In the UK you can take what is known as CBT (Compulsory Bike Training) Which is usually a day course. After completing this you can ride a 50cc bike if you are 16 or a 125cc bike when you are 17 for upto 2 years on a CBT. The L plate is required by law if you only have a CBT and not a full licence.
I have sv 650 s .im very proud of it. I recommend buying sv 650 if u have a budget they are bargain for the price they sell for .its my first street bike that changed my life
